Duffy appointment worrying me slightly, well versed in setting up to keep teams out. Although winning games Pars do not look like cutting through teams. A narrow win is fine.

Not a signing pen GIF I'm afraid but I am delighted to announce that the first episode of the East End Tales podcast is now live!
We're going to take a look back at some of the happier times around East End Park and we begin with the Scottish Cup 3rd round replay comeback against St Johnstone in 2001 with special guest Scott Nipper Thomson. Link below, but you can find us on Spotify, Deezer, Apple i-Tunes(soon) and other podcast platforms.

Enjoyable, looking forward to the next.

Off the top of my head Mark Durnan would certainly be in the match day squad for my Pars shitebag team. I'd have to think if there's anyone more worth of the place from mid 90's until now.
Jamie Harris stood out for me thinking back over the years.

I'm really starting to struggle with the podcasts. A lot I used to listen to have now went into the "That's plenty!" category recently. Old Firm Facts, Open Goal went a long time ago. My Scottish football podcast intake is down to Off the Ball and the one with Craig Levein and Amy Irons, both are completely guest dependent.
Otherwise, I listen to every Athletico Mince and gossipmongers.
New series of Alan Partridge from the Oasthouse is along later in the year, costs money though. An audiobook parading as a podcast. I enjoy it and consider it worth the money though.

Be good to get a wee run in it. Need to go back to November 2017 for the last win in the competition, 4-1 over Queen's Park at Hampden. Grim record.

Well done mate, made an arse of it blundering my rook then I was tied up in knots trying to defend everything. The fork on my queen and King that I missed ended me well played!
Good game. Was a discovered check as well, had nicked your queen. Looking at the analysis it wasn't the best move though, missed a mate in two.

Division B - cols407 expends minimal effort in beating RBWatson by checkmate.
Experimented with a different opening which just led to me ceding the middle completely. Not my finest performance, but it was pretty ruthlessly exploited. Well played.
*edit* On reviewing the analysis, it seems I was doing myself down and not giving my opponent enough credit.
More than happy being seen as fodder to be experimental against.

Yeah we have started the play off however regardless of the result I'd rather not be promoted. I'll get skelped about by the big boys.
Be a good education for a season though.

Made early blunders and was punished as you'd expect from a strong player.
Good luck in rest of cup.

I did say “at the club” meaning Dunfermline. I’m aware that this has definitely happened at other clubs.I don't think so. I was looking earlier to see if he was the shortest reigning permanent manager and it's yes and no. He lasted longer than John Potter in time but managed less games (Potter managed 20, Grant 18). Potter won 5 of them.

League season over for me. Really good amount of improvement, 14 wins, a draw and three losses. 43 points and it still might not be enough. Still in the cup after a couple of wins against a Division A and Division B player. Very pleased.

Thanks for the game I really enjoyed that one. I proberly should have resigned earlier but Thought I could get you to maby stumble into a draw at the end.
Every chance under a different control. Tough game, I thought I might be close to losing at one point. Please to have won an end game, was a big weakness last season and I lost a few I should have won.

I thought I played well but on review I notice I blocked my queen which could have easily been trapped. Fortunate for that to have gone unnoticed.

I managed to watch every single game of the COVID season on ParsTV without interruption pretty much without exception. Which, by most accounts, is superior than a lot of clubs in that period.
I'm not bothered about people speaking or any punditry though, pointing the camera at the pitch is good enough for me.
