  1. That article is beyond embarrassing.. no disrespect to Arbroath but it shows how far we have fallen in recent years that we’re making umpteen excuses about them beating us comfortably. It’s got to the stage now where I hope we lose tomorrow, & if we do I hope it’s about 5- zip.. a result so embarrassing that he cannot possibly be in a job on Monday morning. While I’m at it.. i cannot believe some of the stuff I’ve read on .Net over the last few days. There’s genuinely people (quite a few) who have said we should stick by grant, someone was “certain” we would avoid relegation despite every statistic saying otherwise, someone claiming calling grant names (which weren’t even nearly offensive) will “affect his family for years” etc.

  2. Mistakes are forgivable but it’s utter incompetence bordering on negligence being shown by the board this season. Lose to Arbroath and we’re 15 points behind them before halloween. The football is painful to watch, the results are abysmal, the ground is 90% empty despite the lies they try to peddle about 4.5k. Very sad state of affairs. Meanwhile up at Montrose….

  3. Must be able to field a semi decent team of Parstick players from the last few seasons?

    Scully (maybe not)
    Williamson Dowie Devine McMillan
    Cardle Hardie Paton Craigen
    Buchanan Nisbet

    Manager: Dick Campbell

Done in about 5 mins granted but I’m sure someone as bored as me could muster something better?

Dowie and Devine at CB with scully in goals. Basically starting every game 0-3 down. That might be the sexiest midfield I’ve ever seen though.
  4. The fact that meggle & Mcarthur seen a 0-0 draw at home to Hamilton accies (who just conceded 6 at home to partick thistle!!) as a positive result, and something to shout about in a statement.. shows you how far we’ve sunk even since last season. Going along to today but fully expect to be back in the house for half time. Hopefully the players can ignore everything grant tells them pre match and get themselves organised.

  5. I said it on here a few weeks back that since admin we had some really good times where the club and fans were really connected and a real positive feeling around the club. I genuinely thought we might have had a similar connection that Motherwell have with their fans but instead it's been atrocious.

That’s the most annoying thing for me. With no fans for 18 months, they had a huge opportunity to draw in big numbers like the first season under Johnston. A decent managerial appointment & good marketing for season tickets is all it would have taken. They’ve went the complete opposite way & id expect our attendances to be as low as they have been in the last 20 years over the coming weeks.
  6. Every other club in the league should be comfortable with that. Would love to see us win for obvious reasons, but I’d rather us lose comfortably than us nick another draw that will see him keep his job for no other reason than the board are a bunch of shitebags. I’ll be going on Wednesday purely because I already have my ticket, otherwise I doubt I’d even watch it on TV.

Only team not to win a game, not scored a goal at home, only scored 3 goals, it’s honestly laughable that this charlatan still has a job. If we go 2 down the atmosphere in the away end will be poisonous and rightly so, hope it’s not only directed at grant but also the clowns who employed him, gave AJ a 2 year deal, hung onto crawford etc etc etc…

  7. Not a chance in hell that crowd was anywhere near 3000.
As has been pointed out elsewhere, anything less than 3 points on Saturday SHOULD see grant out the door and away to the diddy leagues to manage a club like Forfar or Stirling, that’s his level IMO. I’ve no doubt atall that he’s getting the rovers game aswell though, which could be embarrassing if Saturday doesn’t go our way. While we still lacked quality on Saturday, they atleast showed fight and determination for the full 90 mins.. that’s half the battle at this level. That’s why there was no walk out, or no abuse towards the players. They might still be shite but they atleast tried and fought for it on Saturday.

  8. Decided to take the wee man to his first game today and he absolutely hated every minute of it (maybe the NW wasn’t the best idea). The atmosphere at games is only going to get more poisonous as the weeks go on, the crowds are already shite & they’ll get worse. Wouldn’t even bet on us to beat Elgin next week, it’s an absolute travesty if he isn’t relieved of his duties on Monday morning.
