No, it's just a bit of a duplicitous one for you guys.
On one hand you're telling us all just how big you are and how scottish football is full of diddy teams...
...then on the other hand, some of you, are boasting about (the possibility of) winning a trophy that is not open to top-flight (decent diddy?) teams!
From day1 back in 2012, a 'big' club like you should have been sticking the kids in for that trophy.

I don't see him as a hero. He is, however, AFIK a law-abiding citizen. That alone puts him several steps up the moral ladder from a convicted criminal and glib and shameless liar.
That said, I am a bit annoyed that he put that 5m in last season to keep the rangers from going bust (again).

The issues I have are in three areas, with two of them minor:
The 'put us in Div 1 or Armageddon' was an error and embarrassing for them and for us.
The SPFL's silence recently is to their shame. They should tell The Title Stripping Tossers to go away and grow up rather than say nothing.
The Five Way Agreement was tawdry and cowardly and is really to the authorities' demerit.

To be fair he also thought that Naisy was a die hard bear and didn't realise that footballers just say favourable things to further their careers.

The worst thing is that they actually had a chance to do this after the old club went down the shitter.
They could have risen up from the bottom with dignity and would have gained a lot of respect.
Instead they plumped for the embarrassing, undignified sideshow which has only made things worse for them.
It's hilarious but at the same time tragic.
..and yet also quite predictable because there are large elements of their support who base their pride on what rangers achieved IN RELATION to other club(s) rather than what it achieved in its own right.
AND they have they cheek to call *us* obsessed.....

Well done for missing the point entirely, what this shows is that you, like Wullie are perfectly ok with a guy breaking SFA rules, costing your club money as long as it negatively affects Rangers too.

Have to say I am utterly amazed at the levels of support for Ashley on here.
The man deliberately broke rules on dual ownership
He then engineered a loan deal between the two clubs he had dual interest in.
He was found guilty
He now wants to take the SFA to court in an attempt to increase his dual ownership further.
All of this is being done at the expense of Scottish Football and will have to be paid by the clubs that posters on here support.
The general consensus seems to be....'aye but he is willing to f**k over Rangers at the same time, good on him!! '
.....and his cheque book just happened to keep your club afloat last year.
