  1. Josh was clearly very keen to stay so keeping McCabe over him is a strange decision on paper. McCabe can only be living off what he'd done elsewhere or 'potential' as he's been rather poor in the black & white.

Great ST sales so far. Can only imagine what would happen if we announced Faissal signing a new deal...

Being canny types, they are holding off that news until tomorrow, when the Early Bird is finished...

Season Ticket sales are currently sitting at 880. This includes 105 new season ticket holders. #COYP

Welcome to the newbs! You've got a season full of corking ties coming up and if Killie can do the biz, some tasty F*****k derbies. As long as folk are patient as the Championship is a big step up.

Only about 6 weeks till the start of the new season...

  3. That last paragraph is absolute nonsense. United were one point adrift with 27 games to play; Butcher's Hibs were midtable and, again, had over 20 games to play; Locke took over in the previous season, albeit the season they went down they had a points deduction. He also did the heavy lifting in Kilmarnock's forthcoming relegation.

Harsh. Tough job down Rugby Park and F*****k are a decent team but it is gonna be a corker of a playoff final. I think Pars fans are gonna love the additional derbies with Grangemouth's finest. The Pars can send Killie a percentage for the favour.

  4. I bet the same people who are calling me paranoid, are the same people that don't vote Labour in Falkirk because of what they did to us regarding the new stadium.

Funny how people can keep that vandetta going but not the SFA/Scotland one - I wonder why? Could it be a 3 day booze up with added ogling in Prague.

Maybe folk don't vote Labour in Falkirk because they used to be good but now suck, like Fanta.

  5. Keepers are fine.

Talbot is a worry for me defensively and going forward he will get caught out but a decent reserve maybe? I would keep Ben and Martin as reserves and hope that Fordyce gets back to his best. Bring in another two or three quality guys like McAusland standard. Williamson should be given a chance.

Midfield, Geggan, Josh, Cardle all good enough but need cover for Geggan badly. Someone like McMullan would be good or a Jamie Adams type. I think we need three new players and Paton might find himself moved on although I rate him highly. Something missing, I don't know?

Moffat, I reckon, will be a great link up player. I don't think Fais will stay. Wallace has had his chance. We will need three or four strikers.

    To sum up.

    New team.

Murdoch/Hutton maybe replace Hutton if possible?

Reid/Williamson Ben/New Fordyce if ok New left back/Martin. plus two more

Geggan, Josh, Cardle, Paton (maybe) Geggan cover (physical enforcer type) play maker midfielder and two wide players.

    Moffat, three new strikers

This is an ideal situation and only if we can afford it, we will have more season tickets and much bigger away supports. It will be a very tough league.

If you think it's too much look at teams like Dumbarton or Livvy who on paper have better players than us in some positions.

We will need to strengthen quite a bit.

Harsh on Wallace. His goals to games ratio is pretty good and he is unplayable on his day. I hope next year he is pushing for Faissal's spot. He might even get double figures in the league this year.

Asides from that, plaudits to the backroom team, the sport scientist article on the 'Fisful website was unexpectedly interesting.

  6. Last game of the season will be a nice showcase of the two strongest teams in the league, hope Peterhead come up with us, they have some fantastic players who deserve to be at a higher level than they are.

If they fail to get promotion then we should certainly be looking there to strengthen.

Could be tasty if the battle for second goes all the way. Peterheid have been a tough team to play against and their unbeaten record would win the league any other year...

  7. Difficult to see anyone being released after yesterday. Wallace who's hardly had a sniff might get double figures this season. McCabe looked like he was hungry and Hopkirk looked pacey and dangerous.

Plus Peterheid blinked. If Faissal can get his shooting boots on, he can have a go at being top scorer. Six goals behind McAllister and he is suspended next Saturday. Can he do it?

Now Faissal is only 4 goals behind. Can he be top player and league scorer?
