Having just watched the highlights again that’s what stood out for me that he got two poachers goals ( 1 off-side) i think that’s what’s been missing from his game. If he can add that more regularly he will be a huge asset next season.

Absolutely correct. I wouldn’t be in the slightest bit surprised if he intends to raise the money to pay for the shares by putting the club into debt to pay for it. Probably not 1p of his own money will be involved.

If you genuinely have the interests of the club at heart you should be celebrating the fact that some people will leak information for the right reasons.
Your comment actually makes me doubt what side of the fence you sit on . Be assured there is Zero chance of the source being revealed but be aware that the word is out within the football world this guy is dangerous. There is a possibility that his businesses didn’t fail but simply ceased trading. Now I’m not casting any aspirations on our savior in waiting but would point out that in general that ;The reasons why certain types are attracted to cash businesses are well documented.Fact - The favorite businesses for money laundering are barbers taxis pubs etc The people involved at a more serious level move countries and continents regularly to avoid detection . One big problem however is how can they legitimize any I’ll gotten gains. Football clubs are an ideal solution - you simply declare a bigger attendance than the actual and cash allegedly taken at the gate becomes valid and in the “System “. So any one turning up with available funds without a legitimate and obvious source should be flagged as worthy of investigation . Totally agree about toshney, my recollection of him prior to signing was that of a donkey, but hes been excellent so far and arguably the best out of the three centre half signings.

I have no doubt that when Duffy does eventually leave that his old media pals will be praising him right, left and centre. They will be making every excuse they can for him building the worst squad in Scottish professional football - budget was terrible etc etc. If he stays and relegates us I guarantee you he will get zero criticism from any of them.

Those highlights are a tough watch.
The ideal scenario is Duffy chucking it before the end of the window so we can recruit someone who is able to at least try and sort out his total mess. Someone younger with a bit if ambition that rubs off on the players would be ideal. Someone who isn't a dour faced b*****d and has the ability to sell our club to players would also be nice.
I feel sorry for some of the players, they are being embarassed on a weekly basis and it's clear as day they should never ever be playing at this level. They'll be lucky if they don't end up with PTSD.
I really think the board need to have a long, hard think about where we go from here. Things are getting embarassing and if something doesn't change asap we are going to end up marooned by the time January arrives. If we don't have the smallest budget in this division and Jim Duffy has only managed to cobble together that then serious questions have to be asked of him because on paper (and on the park) we have one of the worst, and most inexperienced, squads in the entire SPFL.
What we are watching on a weekly basis is nothing short of a complete shambles and I genuinely think Duffy has massively underestimated the standard of this league. Time to hang up the tie and stick to making shite predictions on Clyde 1, Jim.

Honestly thought Ray would let Toshney and Connolly swap strips at half time to help our brothers level things up.
After all the shitfest on the day 1 match it was good to see our team click which I thought last week never happened due to our propensity to install a complete new squad every 6 months.
Last week we were non descript today we were almost flawless but not quite so still room to tighten up.

To the first point, nobody knows and anything you read on here is going to be speculation.
To the second point, at least you have ownership and a large degree of control in the hands of those who actually support the club and therefore will have an eye to it’s long term future. For what it’s worth I think day-to-day management of the club could be problematic under fan ownership, there are always hard decision that someone has to make and you’ll always get “wait a minute, I own shares and I think that’s an idiotic decision”. It could easily lead to paralysis. It’s not all positives.
How long would it take before a decision was made that some fans didn’t like and therefore withdrew their subscription? Based on the last few pages on here I reckon a few weeks at most.4
