Dunfermline Athletic, who have won promotion to the Championship, could attempt to sign 35-year-old striker Derek Lyle from Queen of the South should they fail to hold on to top scorer Faissal El Bakhtaoui this summer. (Daily Record, print edition)

24 goals between Beany and Lyle. No bad at all in this league. Definite keeps for me. Lyle is such a clever player. That finish against Falkirk was just pure class.

The arena is fantastic. The surface and size of the place really changed how we play. In the past we played on wooden surface. It really was a quick kick and rush stuff. On the 3g you have no option but to try to pass the ball. It's quite a forgiving surface when you fall but be prepared to be picking the wee black balls out of your socks.
