Just had newly laid turf down, and trying to figure out a "routine" to keep the grass growing as moss/weeds took over the garden before. About a quarter struggles to get sun and just goes mossy/weedy and then takes over the garden, so ideally trying to avoid that.

Seen comments you're meant be put grass seed on those areas during the winter to try and prevent that?

Cut it often and not too low ,if you take off more than a third of the leaf at any time your killing the plant

Congrats to Glenafton on securing their survival. League table doesn't lie and we haven't been good enough over the season other some flashes against St Cadocs and Hurlford over the last 2 games.

Thank you ,second half was as good as glens have been all season , albeit against an awful Cumnock side

I imagine, knowing this place, this will have been well covered already... Anyway, bottle tops stuck to bottles, why is this the new way to really fucking annoy people, not sure what's worse this or cardboard straws. Took a drink of one of those liquid yogurt protein things the other day, forgetting to take the cap off and ended up with the white liquid, from the cap, over my face*

*explosion of Kenneth Williams gifs incoming

I always get some scissors to cut the bottle lid free

Apologies for the source, but this popped up on my phone today; I'd forgotten that Buckie got pumped by Celt or gers in the cup this season, but knowing the bloody SFA they won't have taken that into account like they should

Has this chvnt been blackballed from a bowling green as it's not his first time making this remark , all the bowling greens I know are run by well meaning competent people

My wife decided to attempt poaching an egg the other day. The instructions she looked up (bbc good food) started off with "make sure you strain your egg". She had the egg in a sieve. Has anyone ever heard of this tomfoolery before? In 30 years of poaching (on and off, sometimes professionally from five star hotels to brewer's fayres) i've never once heard of this nonsense. What the f**k man. Probably some foodie twat like nigel slater or that wee shoplifting guy making up stuff.

    😂
