THISIf you look here and COYB the past 4 or 5 weeks on FB there was a plethora of speculation, with next to no indication what was coming, until the past couple of days when the press got a hold of it. McGlynn barely got a mention in the chat, with IM and KM getting all the attention. This sort of deal takes weeks to land. The job wasn’t advertised and the BoD went about their business quietly and on the evidence of tonight effectively. KM didn’t know himself at the weekend.
RR announced the termination and the next day he’s at the stadium, signed on the dotted line.
P&B is always full of those in the know, when the opposite is true. I see no difference in this case. There’s a good argument to make that the MR appointment and this one both came out of the blue, I see nothing to worry about.

NawIf I was forced to keep some out of that list as squad players which we will probably have too, I would keep McCann, McGuffie and Malcolm obviously as he has just signed. Watson too as he is injured, the rest are pretty much free to go for me if they wanted. Morrison maybe as well but if he left that would be fine.0 -

I know. It is make believe and it is quite humorous at times. It fills a whole where good football should be. My only concern is that some people may think it is factual when it is just second guessing. I really wish that posters stopped just making up posts and implied "inside knowledge " Okay it does build up a bit of controversy but come on. We are a group of 30 or 40 fans who love our club but have little idea about the new machine ( apart from BPM probably) and I think people think of likely targets and get a wee bit ahead of themselves. Please stop

Agree with possible candidates. I think the big problem with most of our shower is motivation. They have no desire or drive to help pull us up. Morrison Watson and perhaps Telfer are the only players who appear to want to play for usMurray or McGlynn I would take, but word of caution to our fanbase, whoever the manager is, if they are saddled with 12/13 of this current pile of shite we will need to have patience with them. You can’t polish a turd and the majority of this squad are most definitely turd.
Don't have a clue who we need as players to drag us out of this mess but I hope that a good manager is the starting point0

How do we attract any decent players given the mess we have created over the last few years ?
