  1. Just want to say thank you and well done to everyone involved in Gartcairn juniors .
In four short years we have went from the 2nd division newbies to championship new boys.
Massive thanks to all who have been on the journey with us so far but special mention today to Craig Armstrong Martin Peacock Peter Rolink and Ian Clark

To our management and back room team led by Jamie Mckenzie , to our players led by captain Kevin Ross.

Our small but growing band of fans who follow us.

Special thanks also to all our sponsors thru the years, without you guys we would be nowhere.

Next step.... the league title is in our hands let’s bring it home

  2. Disappointing 1-1 draw today, fair result though as Albert deserved the point.
We played 70 minutes with 10 men after ref sent kev Ross off, for me a harsh sending off, Albert match report seems to confirm.
Thanks to all in attendance today and all who donated to our cause this year, St. Andrews hospice.

All the best to all at royal Albert for the rest of the season

  3. Game day..... promotion guaranteed if we win, still to win though.
No entry cost to this big game for us today so if your at a Loose end drop by , a wee donation to St. Andrews hospice would be appreciated.
Rawyards Airdrie sports center 2pm ko

  4. Great result today winning 6-1 away to maryhill
    Half time 0-0

Maryhill should be applauded for getting there park on today , very soft underneath but same for both teams,
First half both teams tried to play football on it which was proving nigh on impossible, first half also saw two penalties, both saved.
Only the referee thought Maryhills penalty was a penalty although justice was done when Korea pulled off a tremendous save.
Gartcairns penalty won by arbuckle was upended was also saved.

Second half it was a determined Gartcairn who quickly scored twice, then another and another and ....
giggsy got three, Sherman, jal and ryso.
Connor mcardle just pipped man of the match but countless players could’ve been picked today.
This result leaves us one point from promotion
Next game Saturday at mtc park 2pm ko against last seasons league winners royal albert.

    Hope to get your support

  5. Gartcairn 4-0 port Glasgow

Gartcairn had the satisfaction to beat the only team to take full points from us this season.
On a horrendous day for football and with both teams trying to play football it was the cairn that found the net, four times at that.

All the best to the players of port Glasgow who almost all wished us all the best in the run in , unfortunately their manager didn’t have the grace of his players.
The same guy who claimed was going to bully us in Airdrie as he says he did at the port skulked back to the changing rooms unable to even shake hands.

Not normally one to get involved but I did enjoy giving him a bit back, only celebrate when you’ve something to celebrate....
    Mon the mighty cairn

  6. Disappointing draw for us today , after last weeks display we expected to come away with three points, maybe that’s where we went wrong, we expected.

With only one of the top four winning this was a missed opportunity.
Onto next week away to maybole

All the best to East Kilbride for the rest of the season

  7. Tremendous result against a good greenock side.
Scored early on 4 minutes thru Dylan only for greenock to equalize on 7 minutes.
Greenock with the aid of a strong wind gemmed is in although the defense and goalkeeper where solid.
Gartcairn continued to play there football and scored on 39 thru giggsy and again Ryan Donnelly on 41 minutes to take us into a 3-1 lead at the break.

Second half with the wind at our back we scored on 48 , Sherman this time.
Gartcairn controlled the second half , the fourth goal knocked the stuffing from greenock.
Kev Ross got two penalties and converted to go 6-1 up.

Would like to wish a speedy recovery to the greenock boy who looks like he dislocated his shoulder.
Also thanks to greenock for the hospitality.

    Summary.
Another victory that sends out a message, increased both our points tally and goal difference.
Hard place to go and great result.
    Well done cairn

  8. Both teams came out second half looking to dominate and it was lochee early in second half that scored, a goal that the keeper should’ve had easy, even more so when you consider some of the tremendous saves he had already pulled off.

That’s the only slight negative re the keeper, if you read it all you’ll see the bit where it was mentioned about the tremendous saves
