  1. I have an hour wait finally appear, my mate got through, could select tickets but his cart showed as empty. What a pain on the arse, I had tickets for all the Scotland games and the opener in Rome last euros, but ended up only getting to see the Sweden game at Hampden due to covid restrictions.  Fucking fuming.

  2. Got the strip, sponsor and O'Neils would been better with foam or stitching. Really makes it look like a Chinese copy. Not as good quality as puma stuff but at least it's unique.

Its fine, it's different, but it's no Hummel strip. 6/10 in the flesh. Which considering last season was a fucking embarrassment with the size of the carrot isnt bad for league 1.

I may be way wide of the mark so please forgive me if I am but, is it possibly to do with the compression tops players wear. I’m pretty sure they brought a rule out that the tops need to be the same colour as the top. So if a player was to wear a long sleeve and the red steeple went all the way down the sleeve then that could cause problems for players who like wearing short sleeve tops with the compression top underneath

The original Beezer homes long sleeve was just navy, so kinda in keeping with that.

Have to admit, I never really liked it when I first saw the video. But now I see the images it looks a good effort. Much better than the shite served up for years.

I collect them, so I'd buy it anyway, but I'm so happy they haven't just stuck a Falkirk badge on a training top. I don't think it'll be a future classic like 15/16 but they've put effort in and can only be congratulated on that. I Can't wait to see the away. Hopefully this sells well and encourages more of the same.

Had a look on the club shop website as well. The standard of stuff and variaty is definitely improving. Few wee things I'd get now.

Been on the fence since 5pm Saturday but I've came to a personal conclusion that McGlynn should stay.

Granted 2nd was a bare minimum and the previous season was our worst in history, however still an improvement. Best football we've played in 4/5 years and most I've enjoyed a season in a long time, didnt end the way any of us wanted, but its his first year in charge with a new squad where as the teams around us have been together for years, he gets another summer and I can see us turning into a very good team.

McGlynn without doubt knows what areas need strengthened and I'm sure he'll continue his run of good summer signings. Agyeman a good start and apparently a couple more tied up. We've suffered a lot of shit over the past few years and when things look to start going on the up, people just want to rip it up and start again, any league in the world going from 6th to 2nd is incredible and people think we should win the league/win the playoffs because we have a big support is mental. First season a good one even though we just fell short.

It's about time people realise where we are and not just expect everything to be perfect in a managers first season.

I've just looked through the seasons results to jog my memory of some of the games. When you look back on it there was a lot of pish results/performances. The start of the season was mediocre, we hit a great spell over Christmas to February, then nose dived off a cliff.

You have to remember, we were behind Edinburgh city for a large part of the league.

I want him gone, but I'd like a statement from the club today to find out just what the f**k is going on.

  5. See all this, make his team his own pish get it right in the bin. Five strikers in this year and he only really played two consistently over the course of the season. If he felt there was weaknesses in the squad with the guys he inherited, replace that area.

He's been given ample funds to get us up. He's pissed it up the wall over the thought of getting to a cup final, in which the run was easier than what we've had in the past to the bells cup.

Id put money on it, if he's at the helm next season it'll be an ok start, within touching distance of the title. We'll go on a 'run' in the petrofac cup, get to the final destroying any league form and will be expected to feel grateful for it.

I'm still seething about him claiming beating Hibs in the Mickey mouse stages of the league cup is some how a notable highlight of the year. It's effectively a pre season friendly.

Fair play to anyone who sat through that interview or Tuesdays.

Whether he remains in post or not, there's absolutely nothing I need to hear from anyone in a Falkirk Jersey or in the Falkirk dugout in the immediate aftermath, save for an apology that isn't coming.

I seen it unfold. I know what happened.

    Spot on.

  7. I've just watched that interview, f**k me. The boys gave everything, we've improved, it's a two year plan. It's fucking league one the standard is atrocious. They were utter shite, with the exception of Mackie and yeats today they all flung in the towel.

Even if by some sort of miracle he gets us up next year he's doing absolutely f**k all in the championship. Houston, arguably the best manager we've had in a decade or so couldn't manage it.

I've watched every ball we've kicked this year, I've wasted thousands to be told we were unlucky we need to realise where we've came from. No you absolute weapon, you caused this by playing the same starting 11 because we won the last game, regardless of individuals performances or the opposition. So when you're properly found out you rely on players who haven't kicked a ball in anger in months.

Get the c**t to f**k, get his 60 minute subs to f**k, get his negative pish one up front in league b*****d one at home to kelty to f**k, get his mulling over stats to f**k.

That squad needs horsed, a complete clear out. Is a manager really gonna cost that much more.

  8. A goal away from the score being spelt out on the vidiprinter and this c***s going on about a good first 6-7 minutes.

I had to watch the highlights again after his comment on Henderson's header that could have changed the game. At the time I thought it was weak as piss, having watched it no way would I stand Infront of a camera after that pumping and call it a potential game changer.

I got in and started drinking straight away I was that livid. I was up until the wee hours of the morning seething. I've seen us pumped heavily over the years, 7 nil at dingwall or 6 at queen's come to mind. This eclipses anything.

He has let that team go off the boil for months because we had a semi, and is now struggling to understand how we're so far off the pace. Get him out today.

It’s an entirely outlandish position.  The last point you make is fatuous and irrelevant.

Has there been improvement this season?  Demonstrably yes - we’ve finished higher up the league, scored 18 more goals, conceded 17 fewer, notched up at least 20 more points (all in a league with more full time teams than last season), gone further in every cup competition.  A catastrophic fall in our league positions that has been a consistent feature of every season since Houston went and we’ve installed a merry-go-round of inexperienced and/or clueless managers has been stopped.

You want to sack yet another manager and spin the wheel of turd yet again?  Pay out money to replace McGlynn and presumably have another 462 players come through our doors who have never met each other and have no affiliation for the club, because whatever joker we get wants his own team?

Actually, I take it back.  It’s not outlandish.  It’s monumentally fucking idiotic.  It’s an opinion so astronomically massive in its stupidity that it has its own gravitational pull, sucking even light from the universe into its dense ignorance.

I’d wager you pay for a blue tick on Twitter.

Disco Duck, I think the least you can now do is offer an apology to Cactus jack after this frankly inane pish I had the misfortune of enduring.

    14 points off our rivals.

53% win record in league one.

Complete collapse of a team since the Dunfermline away game.

He doesn't know, a year in what his best starting 11 is.

And let's be honest, the football is verging on the shite we saw the last few years.

He's got to get the play offs, but if we don't go up, this year has been a disaster. And as was posted earlier. Yes he'll get you out of the league eventually but I don't see him winning the championship.

I really don't get the love in for McGlynn, I don't dislike the man, he comes over as very honest and hardworking but for me it's not looking good.

I said this after the Scottish cup game, we downed tools the second we got in the semi, which would have been forgivable if we actually turned up for it. This tonight though is single handedly one of the worse Falkirk performances I've ever seen given the magnitude of the game. He should go for that alone, but when you also add in the fact he's let the team piss about whilst fans waste their money going to see them for the best part of two months he can f**k off tonight for all I care.

Get McCall in pronto, who gives a f**k if he likes a bit of Charlie. Who here hasn't snorted a sneaky line off a piss soaked ScotRail Lavvy seat on the way to Morton. It's 2023 for f**k sake. He's not running for the job at Blue Peter.

How many away fans made the trip approx? Total attendance was 684. Must be the lowest league attendance we’ve been involved in in a long time.

150-200 max, similar crowd to the Montrose game. Have to say the dog was horrendous there and back. Was fucking bitter too.

IMO the McGlynn out now shouts just before the playoffs are as bad a call I think I have ever read on here, and that says something.

f**k off with your sexism and derogatory comments towards women's football, whilst they don't have the same physicality, it is just as competitive as men's football.

Every manager we seem to get show no sign of competence, this is obviously the sign of bigger issues, now that Holt and the old board have been cleared we need to change things and that won't happen overnight, like I said, Rennie has inherited absolute guff, we could have brought Moutinho in and even he wouldn't get a tune out of this pile of shite!

Nothing, nothing at all, I will agree its been woeful - but you can only piss with the cock you've got!  Rennie is a Falkirk man, he's done good things in the past and from the Spiers interview it seems like he's looking to the future rather than the here and now, we can't just demand immediate change and results, especially with this squad!  O think he deserves a chance to show what he can do when he has a chance of a fresh start in the summer.

Were you at the game on Saturday? Because if not, f**k off with this patter.

A 7 hour round trip at the cost of £100 to see us his hit one shot on target against Peterhead is frankly fucking inept. How you can even consider calling yourself a professional footballer or manager after that performance on Saturday is beyond me. He has an ex internationalist striker who was playing in the premier league before Christmas, back defending a corner one nil down against Peterhead. They haven't had a decent predator upfront since they shut the Jail.

Rennie has taken one point of Peterhead in the two games he's had in charge. The wins against East Fife and Dumbarton massively paper over the cracks. He's simply the worst manger I've had the displeasure of seeing. He's fucking hopeless and not fit to manage anything that matters.

  14. I can't really add much from what I said after the Cove game or from what has already been said on here since last night. But two things I want to know is just what the f**k is going through his head persisting with his current formation/tactics, surely he must see how bad it is and is he away yet?

Please no more Champman w**k stain mangers.

I’ve seen absolutely nothing so far to suggest he should be here next season tbh.

If bringing in 7 isn’t giving him the chance to bring in his own players I don’t know what is.

I hope we do improve between now and the end of the season as the new signings bed in, but I think it would be grossly premature to offer him an extension at this stage tbh.

This was my take on it after Saturday.

It's been clear for weeks that the we haven't the team to play a back 3, it essentially becomes a back three we're so defensive,

We cannot play from the back but choose to do so, it was suicide, the huge gap in midfield has been present for weeks,

    Team selection is questionable,

We had 11 men in the box to defend corners at 1 and 2 nil down, its Cove Rangers were playing not Celtic. WTF must Leigh Griffiths have been thinking at that point.

His remit is to make the play offs and get promoted, not reinvent the club. I firmly believe that squad is more than capable of a top 4 finish, they just need a manger willing to go back to basics. This isn't the 'soccer' he's used to, its the fucking Cinch League 1, setup for it like it is.

As I thought, not a peep from you in the queue.  I'll be there on boxing day as well but guessing you won't be telling Falkirk supporters to leave there either. 😀

Re ticketing, I think first come first served for season ticket holders was the fairest way.

The league cup group games against Albion Rovers and Hamilton were balloted with a restricted capacity of 1000 but we only had 686 and 723 turn up respectively.

Also good of Jamie Swinney to open doors early and keep the queue informed.

Cool, we should sit together, f**k all this social distancing pish, stick two fingers up to Sturgeon. Don't worry I've had Covid i'll be alright, along with the other 99.3% of the 380 on the day.

  17. 3 minutes ago, Bula Bairn said:

Not that you, or anyone else who has liked this, would utter that in the queue.

Always the same with online trolls.

Online troll 🤣 I'd happily say it on Boxing day, I'll be easy to spot come and see me, I'll be one of the few under bloody 60 years old that managed to get a ticket today.

  18. Seven hour round trip for a nil, nil in Peterhead......

Can't fault the squad nor manager for effort and desire. You could see a hunger from last week. That's to be commended.

Problem is its blatantly obvious if that's their best, they aren't good enough. We genuinely will struggle to make the play offs. I don't see an improvement on last year and I'm wondering just how you can make a meal out of league one for three years on a row with our budget. The standard of football is shockingly bad.

  19. 1 hour ago, Sainteepip said:

There's really no need for that reaction.

So you wished to attend and managed to attend? That's kind of proving my point. There's a post from a Falkirk fan who managed to secure a ticket through the normal channels the morning before the event so anyone who had any realistic intention of attending to 'hound the board' could quite clearly have done so. Fortunately for the good of the club the angry mob on here decided they had other things to do.

I feel I may be on the cusp of the angry mob that you refer to. I very rarely post on here, I go every week home and way have done for years but tend to give my abuse on match days only having a fleeting glance on here and a cursory one of the boardroom handling.

I never really felt like these board meetings changed anything. It felt like it was all just a bit of virtue signalling. Hence my reluctance to attend this or any event my club holds other than that at 3pm on a Saturday. Having now watched, what can only be described as a car crash I now feel almost fucking 'woke' at the shambles running our club. From the utterly cringe-worthy introductions, to baseless accusations of fans threatening behaviour and the utter contempt to a fan who delivered a concise, articulate and factual question/'statement' that even the Yanks wife looked impressed with.

To ask fans to rally behind a team and stop booing them is one thing if its worthy. But the bar is now set so low its on the floor for Falkirk. A 3-0 home defeat against Airdrie, with one shot on target (a shit one at that). A manager who has lost his best attacking option and now reeks of desperation by playing a conservative, possession based style as he has no faith in his front line in League 1 despite having the biggest budget against part time players. Celebrating a 2-2 draw against Montrose when we are 'challenging' for the title. At what point do you turn around and go NO. Enough is enough. I get they had to save face the other night, but at what point do they evaluate their performance, be it management, players or board members and start to feel ashamed at their performance.

So if the plan of this meeting was to unite us again its worked. I've seen a likeable side to Sheerin, he looks like he's really trying but just not fit for it. I will no longer direct my entire abuse to him on match-days.  It'll be entirely focused at Deans a Co from now on. This whole shambles now has shone a spotlight on them for a guy like me who was almost ignorant and only interested in seeing his team on a Saturday.
