  1. I think it's 10 pounds but it might be 10% (16 pounds)
  2. Golovkin isn't a big middleweight, he's never been more than 170 on fight night I don't think. The IBF are sanctioning it as well so they'll have a weigh in on the day of the fight
  3. Absolutely brilliant win against the 3rd seed, looks so powerful
  4. You hear of guys losing near enough 15 pounds in the few days leading upto weigh ins, might be exaggerated slightly but 16 in a month should be no bother
  5. 30 day check weigh in, GGG - 165, Brook - 176 (176 is the limit)
  6. Definite knockdown was a great left hand, I quite enjoy these "game of chess" type fights
  7. Maidana officially retires, sad to see him leave the sport but he was an absolute warrior who gave us one of the greatest fights of the last decade
  8. There's Ruenroeng out, stopped in the 3rd round, every professional out before the quarters. Easy to say with hindsight but think it's fair to say the outrage after the decision was made to allow pros in was a bit overhyped. I still think they should be kept apart, but these olympic boxers are the elite amateurs they aren't just kids waiting to be walked over like some painted them as. Also funny to see the WBC/IBF moaning about how dangerous it is and banning boxers from their rankings, considering some of the mismatches they allow.
  9. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/olympics/rio-2016/schedule/2016-08-08 Choose what day then on the boxing tab there's a video of the whole session.
  10. Joe Cordina out despite his opponent getting a point off, obviously a talented guy but looks like he could do so much more. Needed the last round and barely threw a punch
  11. Okolie out as well (beaten by the Cuban Savon, same guy who beat Femi 4 years ago). Not a great day for the Brits
  12. Fowler oot now too, no surprise there he's as average as they come Doing your casual image no good by knowing who Rigo is, next you'll be learning who that Japanese guy you've never heard of is
  13. Aye shite draw to get the world no1 so early on
  14. Paddy Barnes out too now, gutted thought he'd done the better work
  15. I need to balance that out by posting this picture, don't open it if you are eating this is the thing of nightmares
  16. I heard Ward actually moved upto 175 in the hopes of avoiding our Callum, he can't hide forever though.
  17. That guy who beat Nathan Cleverly versus the guy who beat Paul Smith, can't wait for it. Callum Smith ices both of them, obviously.
  18. Bellew-BJ Flores has angered me far more than it should, one of the most stacked divisions in boxing and they manage to find BJ Flores. Looks like we might have BJS against Gabe "I don't win fights but I'll bleed a lot" Rosado as well. "British boxing is on fire"
  19. Best I can find http://www.aiba.org/rio2016/
  20. Fairly certain Crawford and Bradley wouldn't fight each other anyway
  21. I think it'd be quite close odds, they obviously rate Crawford quite highly considering the price he was against Postol
  22. Same here, not a confident pick though, Pac has to be focused on the political stuff and Crawford looks very difficult to beat
  23. One thing's for sure though, by dominating Bradley only a few months ago Pac proved he's not as past it as the Floyd fight suggested. He'd be a massive step up for Crawford.
  24. I actually agree that both would start as favourites over him, but what he's done at the weight has him over both for me
