Think the majority would agree they will be odds on favorites to get promoted though nothing guarantee in football granted.
Think the lowland would be crazy not to look at someone with this man's experience in the game imo.
Mr Boal i should have added to that list of respected west junior men what he's done at beith juniors has been remarkable for the mighty.
Favourites don’t always win and after this debacle do you honestly believe that the lowland league would want any of our current committee on there committee as for naming other people I’m sure if John boal is interested in being on the committee he will put his name forward this is not the place to discuss this0 -

The amount of senior football officials who have made a pigs ear of Scottish football from the top to the lowland is incredible and far more concerning . Those looking to take up roles in the new west have shown themselves up big time imo in recent weeks.
With johnson now involved with our junior cup and robertson sent into retirement anyone with half a brain would know the characters left that i mentioned earlier(Mr Rooney, Mr Fyfee Mr Chisholm, Mr Young are more than competent to run the west juniors in the west of scotland and they will do so.
Depending if he wants to mr chisholm will have an important role in both tier 6 and tier 5 in the future.
That is the reality away from the bashing of the keyboards on here from those who support the worst senior football association in western europe.
Very presumptuous auchinleck will get into tier 5 and that the lowland league would want mr Chisholm on there committee0 -
The Scottish Cup entry and money is very valuable for whoever is chosen. IMO it's a dereliction of duty not to give someone the opportunity to access. Pick a name out of a hat from all 63 West teams if you need to.

Well I'm not the 'Talbot Media Man' kinda similar to the report saying Talbot have directors. Words used to attribute further meaning.
I've raised some valid, still unclarrifed points about an article that at best is a snap shot of clearly a much bigger discussion. Sorry I'm not a ways down the garden path with it all but I doubt I'm the only one speculating about the motivation

PPG suits the teams who have played less games most of the time Kilwinning have played 25 games auchinleck 16 but if you take it back to when Kilwinning had only played 16 lets look at that
Auchinleck PPG 2.56 16 games
Kilwinning PPG 2.44 16 games
Auchinleck 76.8 30 games
Kilwinning 73.2 30 games
For me that’s the swing of 1 game each that’s far to close with nearly half a season to play how do we know talbot wouldn’t of fell in hole Kilwinning seem to have done in the 9 games since0 -

The way it reads in the emails is that they went null and void, but still thought they could nominate a team to the Scottish Cup. Talbot then jump in saying the SFA advice is that wouldn't be good enough and would need to determine a league champion for qualification.
Mr Chisholm must have known PPG would give his club the league, with it the Scottish cup place, when he suggested in a private email to mr fyfe. so I’m sorry does that not stink that the club who benefits from PPG is the club that puts forward the suggestion.0 -
Make no mistake about it buddy this is a dirty tactic from a club in kilwinning using the kilwinning chronicle reporter.
This have been a shambles for years and now under the stewardship of the man in charge now have divided the down with the move, taken his club away from the juniors and the junior cup and now the dirty tactics of trying to sully the name of a leading talbot official .
Disgraceful tactics throwing mud hoping it sticks and failing.
To think this man will no doubt want a leading role in the juniors in the west of scotland association is galling this will be part of his 'tactics' to ensure that.
Now you are sullying this man Kilwinning have nothing to gain from this my team is in this league and I was astonished when they called talbot as winners so I’d like to see what comes of this and il stick by my original statement why was nr Chisholm private emailing mr fyfe when there was plenty time at the future meetings to resolve this mr Chisholm has left himself open to this by getting involved his club benefits from the change from null and void so he should of excused himself from the discussion1 -

I’m sorry but mr Chisholm shud not be getting involved as his side were to profit from a change from null and void to PPG why he emails mr fyfe outside of the meeting is leaving him open to all of this if talbot maybe only had 7 or 8 games to play an one cup to play for I can see why they shud be named champions but the amount of games to be played by talbot means they were no way guarenteed to win them 14 games still to play for me made it null and void0 -
Article strikes me as a bit of confirmation bias. Kinda like you jumping on emails being deleted when what it appears what they are talking about is recalling the minutes. Perhaps showing their age a bit with the 'destroy' as that's what use to happen with minute drafts?
Reading that as it sits it looks like they want the minute to reflect the different nights they discussed it but also like they had to consider another aspect in some other email before reaching a conclusion.
It doesnt have all the information its referring to nor importantly the finalised minutes to see what was fully discussed the rest of the times.

They never asked for a participant going by that. Talbot asked TJ to ask the SJFA about the West Premiership Champion qualifying spot to the Scottish Cup. The SFA responding saying if a champion was declared they would qualify. It was the West Region that thought they could null and void, then still nominate a qualifier. Which wasn't good enough for the SFA, which is why the East Region won't have an entrant.

Theres not enough in any of that for me to draw any firm conclusions other than minutes were being recalled and an email refers to other emails which I read for context. Perhaps they will make all the documents and finalised minutes available for us all to see and reach our own conclusions?

It was getting declared null and void yes but even with that the SFA still wanted a participant in the cup and they were still going to use best performing in the league
