well 2 games in and looks like a long season ahead
not been impressed with stirling or rooney, marshall has been the same as usual gets up and down but final ball terrible, need another centre midfielder to help jacobs preferable joe thomson, why we signed dan carmichael when injured i dont have a clue what a waste of a wage, another forward is a must aswell
if naysmith doesnt get backing from the board i can see us being in relegation play offs and crowds being down under a thousand

felt first half against st mirren we played well, for the first 30 minutes was probably the best dykes has played in a while can see why he started with him with his height against there big centre halves. thomas works really hard but nothing seems to come of for him at the minute. i would like to see naysmith try a 4-3-3 with the 3 centre mids thomson rankin jacobs while thomas lyle and dobbie uptops

dykes hasnt had much of a chance under naismith keeps getting played different positions too. would stick with him as his form at the start of the season before injury was promising. needs to get a position that he can stick too aswell
dont see why people keep saying atkinson has to get a chance, he has had his chance a few times and i still dont think he is good enough

think people seem to forget two of the 3 board members where in charge when the club nearly went tits up, when without the sos and trust we probably wouldnt have a club. it might be running smoothly now but he had to bring mark robertson in to help, still think it is wrong decision to not vote the trust onto the board.
also the supports liaison officer was this job advertised anywhere? im sure that every club who has appointed one hasnt just offered it to someone close to the club but advertised it and had fans vote for the person.

i dont think you understood my post? i am saying that we should be using the 16/17 year old boys in the under 20s games instead of using the likes of hooper, moxon etc who arent good enough for the first team so shouldnt be at the club

queens should be doing exactly what a lot of the under 20s teams are doing, playing 16/17 year olds in the games see how they can cope. players like hooper, brotherston, smith, moxon and jim atkinson shouldnt be playing. imo at there age if there not good enough for the first team release them and let them go and play elsewhere

the under 20s were shocking last night against a young airdrie team. played a full strength team and not one of them looks good enough. hooper would struggle to get a game for a lowland league team absolute terrible he was, he was moved into centre midfield in the second half and he cant pass the ball. likes of smith, brotherston and bell showed flashes of good stuff but still not convinced in them
big changes needed to youth system if that is the players we are producing

hopefully aidan smith is back in the squad for an option of the bench with some pace. that big fergusson boy has looked out of place whenever brought on and think smith is streets ahead of him.
still think the manager needs to bring in a full back and another winger

is lee robinsons much better than robbie thomson was last year? from what i have seen from the few games ive been to this season robinson hasnt been great, his kicking last night was terrible and his positioning for 2 goals was awful aswell.
the game was crying out for lyndons pace upfront last night and not on the wing cant expect to counter attack when dobbie and lyle have no pace atall
onwards to saturday hopefully make this game if i get away from work hoping to see a few changes in the team

have heard by one of his family members he will hopefully be back for the st mirren game. the injury wasnt as bad as they expected

danny would walk into our team, yes we have had a good start to the season but danny is still a better winger than anderson and dykes. he would be a better option than dykes who i would like to see upfront more. people saying he would only be a squad player are getting a bit carried away here, didnt play that great saturday yes we got the win but against any other opposition we would have struggled

credit to the manager for his substitutions that changed the game, everyone dug deep and desereved the win in the end, hope lyndon and brotherston can carry that form on and if they do we have two decent youngsters on our books.

wow! never felt this good about a player coming to queens in my lifetime! well done to the board and manager for this, hopefully as jim thomson says we can bring in another couple of quality players we will be challeneging for the play-offs
anyway in other news notice on the player profiles that lyndon dykes had had his contract extended for another season.

wasnt a great game saturday dont think anyone bar hamil or hilson played well. felt dykes played better when he went uptops but as palmy cammy said some of the shouts near me towards dykes and pickard were shocking, cant really expect the young boys to be this consistent every game. been impressed with dykes so far so hopefully saturday was a one off, felt harsh on jacobs being dropped as he didnt do much wrong against thistle

pickard is a better option that jacobs, gets forward a lot more and he uses the ball a lot better. lyle is our best striker still why should he be on the bench?

terrible decision to let del go if true, but cant blame the young boy dykes for del being told to leave. can see where GN is coming from keeping dykes as he is versatile and can play numerous positions where as del is competing for one position, its more that kane is keeping him out the team and not dykes.
if del, kane and kerr all go we need atleast 5 new players, a winger, centre half, centre mid and 2 strikers. going to be a tough end of season if we dont
