  2. Hilarious stuff. What a club. There's nothing you can ever do, even winning the cup has done nothing, that'll dawn on you eventually, then it'll really hurt. The history of failure of Hibernian Football Club cant be unwritten now, you've ballsed up too many times, too spectacularly and for too long. Always and forever in our shadow.
  3. and still, still it doesn't work, even after a Scottish cup win. All you've made me do is have a wee laugh to myself
  4. Give it a few weeks, you'll see how much it matters
  5. My personal top footballing nightmares are; Supporting a club with a history of pathetic and hilarious failure. Being absolutely humiliated by hibs in a Scottish cup final. Losing a league to hibs we were expected to challenge for. Being absolutely humiliated by hibs in a Scottish cup semi final. 22 games in a row without a win against hibs. 30 odd years of complete subservience to hibs. Being stuck in the lower leagues for season after season. Celtic. hibs winning a Scottish cup hasn't exactly been fun but its hardly been a nightmare. hibs fans massively desperate attempts to use it as some kind of huge victory over Hearts and some of their trampy scaffy fans being trampy and scaffy have actually given me some laughs, I doubt much could raise a smile if anything on the above list were to come about.
  6. I've explained myself OK I think. You on the other hand aren't making much sense. I'm basically saying you can try to wind us up with albert kidd as you tried to do a few pages back, give it 7-0, 6-2, you haven't beaten us for 2 years ect, but it really counts for hardly anything because of the ultimate humiliation, this will last no matter what hibs do, it's a simple as that, I dont think that's slavering or over blowing anything, I think that's pretty straight forward. I hope you get it this time.
  7. I haven't said I don't care about losing games to hibs anymore, I've made that pretty clear, I do. I'm saying, every time hibs beat us, in the end, it counts for nothing, 7-0, 6-2, albert kidd, anything hibs try, put it all together and it can be hit out of the park by the complete comprehensive humiliation of 5-1 and therefore ultimately nothing hibs do can really hurt us, not for too long anyway. Obviously this is from a personal perspective, I cant speak for all Hearts fans, but I'd say this is pretty much how just about every Jambo I know feels, maybe you're different dunno.
  8. No I'm not saying that, it did for maybe a week, a couple of weeks possibly, but years later? Months later? Nope, its just not that massive a deal. 5-1 is a big deal, the biggest, it'll bring me joy and hibs hurt probably for the rest of my life. It'll always be there, in the locker, no matter what success hibs have, it'll always win. That's how football rivalries work. That's unfortunate for you.
  9. It honestly just doesn't matter all that much anymore. You'll get this eventually. Hibs cant hurt us, 5-1 has set us up for life. It could have been so different, it isn't. You can try and try but it's the way it is. Sorry.
  10. Brilliant response. Three smilies and an utter pish, truly I'm floored by that. Tell me then how hibs can ever possibly lay a glove on Hearts again after that day? You know it, I know it, every Scottish football fan knows it. You've got this for the rest of your life. Unlucky.
  11. Nothing, nothing, is going to work for you. One day the pathological denial will slip away and you'll grasp the magnitude of what happened on the 19th of May and realise nothing hibs ever do will ever really have much effect on Hearts, the most you will ever do is cause a little bit of annoyance Even if you win the cup, after a few days we will just shrug our shoulders. That day really was massive, it could have changed everything for you, instead it just set your misery in stone for all time
  12. Im trying man! I'm bored. He seems to be an utter inadequate chump tho, so I'm off.
  13. What? You're not bothered or we're not bothered? I just said it did bother me a bit. No Hearts fan isn't bothered at all by 86, but its hardly that big a deal these days. What exactly are you trying to say? Your low IQ may be your saving grace
  14. I'm not going to lie, it pisses me off a little bit, I was only just born and it seems like another age to me but even then there's a little bit of annoyance when its brought up. So well done, you have something which causes Hearts fans a bit of pain, not too much, I guess even in the boys that were there now, but nonetheless, you have something to hold dear. Congrats. Its also quite valuable for me though, because it gives me a glimpse into the absolute agony being a hibs fan must be. If something like that from as long ago and as inconsequential to me personally can irk me, and it does a bit, then Jesus Christ the 19th of May 2012 must be an absolute soul destroyer to a hibs fan. Add to that the Hartley Semi final destruction, the years of domination, last seasons pathetic attempt to challenge us and many, many other hibernian disasters and well, I can only guess it must be a fking horrific existence to be a devoted hibs fan. Horrific. Properly mental health damaging.
