Yes. He's worked on his strength as well, a noticeably weak point in his game last season. I'm not saying to start Smith every game and I agree we're stronger with Lyle. I just think depending who we are playing would depend what strikers start.

I agree Lyle is a certain starter but to suggest that Smith has done nothing to prove he merits a start is silly. He'll give Skelton a headache and a good one at that this season. I've seen Smith all Pre-season and the way he defended from the front and hassled defenders is something we need in my opinion. He seems stronger as well which I think he needed to work on. In my opinion it will depend who we are playing that'll decide who starts or not.

Of course he does. But whether that happens is a totally different story.

Kiltie was just a name I threw in there with the rumours. But I believe they're only rumours and believe we won't be signing a left sided midfielder and will make do with what we have.
