Hibs fall in to the bottom six in possession of the hot potato, and promptly leave it in Paisley with St Mirren.

All saints match up this weekend as St Mirren travel to #perthshire hoping for a first win in about 9 months. I might be wrong but I don't think they have a good record in Perth at all - maybe they need the extra motivation of a tatty fixture. I for one can't wait.

    Christ.

At the risk of indulging in the folly that is trying to figure out what the f**k goes on in women's brains, presumably she is labouring under the misapprehension that the Sun is the size of two average corporation double-decker buses, and therefore, if Mercury was larger than that, it would surely block out the Sun? (I'm being uncharitable here and assuming she doesn't realise that planets actually move).

I think you're going to have to go back and do a bit more digging. Only if you can safely do so without ending up rocking back and forth in a corner, holding yourself and gently sobbing though.

But if you stand next to a double decker bus with the sun on the other side, the bus blocks the sun - so it must be smaller than one bus, never mind two?

You think Hibs will be in the top six?

A real chance with the next 2 fixtures, however if Hibs fail to win either then obviously a real chance they don't make it either.

Assume if they fail to beat Utd and then win the Derby they'll be top six?

Equally if they beat Utd and then the Arbas don't win their Derby then there's still a chance they sneak in top six?

Who knows at this point to be honest. I'm all for it. None of this European challenge nonsense, the real excitement is in the potato race .

Twice this season Aberdeen have gone on double digit winless runs. Twice this season Hibernian Football Club Club have rocked up to Pittodrie.

    Week 30: Hibs (1-3 Aberdeen (A))

Looking like we'll probably end the season on week 37 due to the way fixtures have fallen. That's pretty god damn close to 38, which I am happy with.

Hibs host Dundee United a week on Saturday, and then travel to Hearts in the final pre split match. A real chance that the potato sneaks in to the top six now.

Another week, and Aberdeen still waiting for that new manager bounce to kick in. Defeat at Ibrox see's them match St Johnstones 9 weeks in possession of this seasons Hot Potato.

They host Hibs on the 19th next. With Dundee and Ross County to follow, there is a real chance the potato could sneak in to the top six.

Aberdeens 6th consecutive week and 8th overall with the Hot Potato, close to St Johnstones 9.

Last time they had it, they got rid of it away to Hibs, and coming up after Rangers away is the visit of Hibs to Pittodrie.

I think its just becoming too obvious that the promos are 100% pack sellers tbh.

There's no doubt Mbappe and Messi are great. Have they had better years than Salah?

And how tf is Hakimi in the TOTY?

Spoiler: Its cause he's quick and OP.

Ronaldo being the 12th man is just blatantly to sell packs, no hiding it.

On the flip side, I am enjoying the game more, funnily enough because I am playing it less and not stressing about getting every objective card like previous years. Once you f**k the FOMO, its a more enjoyable game.

As predicted St Johnstone remained utter shite over the christmas break, but no fear as Nadir Ciftci is here to single handedly drag us up the table. If the international clearance comes in.

European push starts with Hearts away for the Super Js tonight.

    Sweeping generalisation alert….

Remember the days when BMW drivers were regarded as the biggest arseholes on four wheels? Then the title was won by Audi drivers? IMHO there’s a new challenger on the block. Tesla drivers. Ever had one pull up beside you at a set of lights or a junction?

Yes, we know, fancy electric cars are lightning fast away from a standing start. Now fcuk off.

Tesla drivers are easily dealt with - "Oh the new Toyotas look nice"

A trip to lovely Lanarkshire next up, where last seasons Hot Potato enjoyed so much time.

Hope it doesn't expect to stay long though, as St Johnstone are without "main striker" Chris Kane.

After Saints fail to score here, its back to McDiarmid Park where they will fail to score in consecutive games v Ross County and then Celtic.

    Merry fucking Christmas
