Reilly didn't show any finishing ability at Hearts. He has a great work ethic though, is nippy and puts defenders under pressure. He was most effective when upfront with Sow and they were starting to develop a good parternship before he left. I'd be surprised if he didn't prove to be a good signing in the Championship as he was decent at Queens. I'm delighted we are helping out Hibs rivals for the title. You can have McGhee on loan as well if you fancy?

It's mainly Tache and Dumpster that keep perpetuating this myth. The reality has hit home with the Hibs fans I know that they have now found their level in Scottish football (play offs in the Championship with an outside chance of promotion).

Sammon has had a far more successful career in England than Adam Rooney did and he has been terrific upon his return to Scotland. They also have near identical scoring records in the SPL prior to moving south and Sammon has 9 Ireland caps to Rooney's 0. Although he isn't a prolific striker, he must he a good player to have made well over 100 apperances in the Championship at big clubs. I can see Reilly going out on loan or being released and 1 or 2 other strikers signing.

How's the pub league looking for next year. Hopeful?

There is going to be plenty of transfer activity in Gorgie this summer as we get ready for our assault on the title. I can see 7/8 coming in and a lot more departures than have already been announced. If Nicholson want Aberdeen they can have him. Too lightweight, doesn't score much and can't take a man on. Hayes is far superior.
