We are better than 9 of the teams in the league and worse than 2. That does me quite fine, though I expect us to improve this year and get 2nd.Don't see what's so funny about that. The style of football we played under Fenlon is similar from what I seen of Hearts last season. You seem to lack imagination and creativity. As we did. You also seem to lack pace throughout your side. It's all too slow and one paced. Not having a dig at hearts just saying what I genuinely thought of you last season when I seen you.

I couldn't give a shit what style of play we adopt. Results are all that matters and on that front we have excelled the last 2 seasons.Tbf I can see why some Hearts fans are getting a bit fed up of the style of football that Hearts are playing just now.

Lol. We finished 3rd last season, under Fenlon you finished 7th. Not comparable. The Hearts fans who slate Neilson/Levein/Budge represent about 10% of the support and are in the main complete weirdos.Denial.
. In all seriousness surely it can't be a good thing that Levein/Budge/Neilson is splitting the fans as much as they are? It reminds me of Fenlon at us. Boring drab football but we weren't as doing badly as some Hibs fans made out.

Tbf that is impressive. He has also played a major role in the relegation and demise of Hibs league position from 2007 to now. Can you inform me of the last time Hibs were the 15th best team in the country before this season?Lewis has won both Cups, absolute legend.

Reilly didn't show any finishing ability at Hearts. He has a great work ethic though, is nippy and puts defenders under pressure. He was most effective when upfront with Sow and they were starting to develop a good parternship before he left.
I'd be surprised if he didn't prove to be a good signing in the Championship as he was decent at Queens.
I'm delighted we are helping out Hibs rivals for the title. You can have McGhee on loan as well if you fancy?

It's mainly Tache and Dumpster that keep perpetuating this myth. The reality has hit home with the Hibs fans I know that they have now found their level in Scottish football (play offs in the Championship with an outside chance of promotion).How long can they get away with claiming to be a premiership club playing in the championship?

Eagerly awaiting news on which of our cast offs will end up at Easter Road next season imo. Keatings and Eckerskey last summer. Maybe McGhee and Oshinawa?Hibs fans with their noses pressed up against the window, looking in enviously again.

Sammon has had a far more successful career in England than Adam Rooney did and he has been terrific upon his return to Scotland. They also have near identical scoring records in the SPL prior to moving south and Sammon has 9 Ireland caps to Rooney's 0.He'll be ok, but it's not a signing I can get excited about - uninspiring is the word I'd use.
I wouldn't be giving him a three-year deal, which is what we've heard he's signed.
If he's prepared to graft, and run into channels for hopeful punts, and hold the ball up for runners, then fine - not expecting him to set the heather on fire, but I hope he turns out to be decent.
I also hope Reilly and Juanma are better in their second season, and that we sign another striker that's a wee but more inspiring.
Although he isn't a prolific striker, he must he a good player to have made well over 100 apperances in the Championship at big clubs.
I can see Reilly going out on loan or being released and 1 or 2 other strikers signing.

There is going to be plenty of transfer activity in Gorgie this summer as we get ready for our assault on the title. I can see 7/8 coming in and a lot more departures than have already been announced.
If Nicholson want Aberdeen they can have him. Too lightweight, doesn't score much and can't take a man on. Hayes is far superior.
