It's worth remembering how poor Grimmy was at RB at the start of last season and that's the reason we were desperate for O'Donnell in the 1st place. I think SOD is 100% bang average but he's 100% our best RB. Hopefully we can get Grimshaw back soon though to allow young Max Johnston out on loan possibly.

The team really lacks a leader. Players like Seedorf need talked through the game at times as his game understanding is rotten. Whether that leader is Hartley coming in for Dunne or if its an old experienced DM we can recruit from a loan down south, a balance between youthful potential and experience is what's needed. I'd rather the latter because the midfield is all over the place and getting that DM in at least means the other 2 cm's can afford to float around and chase whilst he maintains his discipline and brings balance to the middle of the park. The lack of balls in the box near the end concerned me. You are 2-1 down in a cup tie, even if Berra will win most of the headers, with conditions like tonight you never know, he could make a c**t of it and 2-2 there's yir wee slice of luck you need. My worry is lose at Accies a tricky venue, lose at home to Hibs and then the heads go down and the pressure from the fans goes to the manager.

I don't have an issue with McAlear leaving. Unfortunately it's just the way football is going. Whilst Ajax have a good few youngsters coming through, you have to remember quite a few get picked up at 15, 16 before they even get close to their Jong team so it's happening to clubs far bigger than us. Bigger clubs are always going to be sniffing about at all levels and stockpiling youngsters.

£1m and a sell on clause would be great business. All the attributes to develop more and be sold on for crazy Championship prices. Then 4 weeks to get a replacement, someone who won't be getting a game in the Football League (ala Hartley last year).

Difficult to call a team at the moment, I'll go for Carson, Kipre, Hartley, McHugh, Tait (RWB), Frear (LWB), Gorrin (I think he gets around 60 mins) Campbell Cadden, Bowman, Main. Imagine Rose will get the last 30 for Gorrin. I've got Frear to start, as its a home game so the emphasis will be to get at QOS from the off and get crosses in the box. I think Gorrin will end up be the creative playmaker we need, we saw glimpse of it vs Edinburgh, but he certainly needs game time to get his match sharpness up. EDIT - The actual team

Would make a lot of sense. Robinson could view Tait as the option he wants to keep at LWB and then a move to the middle of midfield for Cadden. Also seems like someone you could view as a sellable asset. It's a case of wait and see of course, but I'm hopeful it is us that's in for him.

Fairly Poor. Got a few mates down that way and just doesn't fit how they play as Carey will usually play RW and drift in. The two games I made he was awful in both. @ Wigan - he lasted 40 mins then subbed off from injury, the right back go subbed off after being constantly ripped apart, however got no support from Lionel. @ Rochdale he came on after 70 mins, was pretty lazy, chased a long ball, pulled up and had to get subbed back off.

Doncaster fan's never rated him and was certainly 2nd choice at Argyle behind Gary Sawyer. Few Plymouth plans would have kept him. Noticed quite a few former players will be looking for pastures new next season. Heneghan, Nathan Thomas and George Long all made available for transfer by Sheffield United, whilst Chris Humphrey was released by Bury. Hope we stay away from the former player recruitment we used to do. Also on the topic of Hendrie he's been fairly shite, either unfit or just not interested.
