Dont get me wrong, selfishly id love the chance to go see the Bankies abroad and play a game in a stadium like that. But aye its absolutely not affordable. Would love to see us go down to FC United for a friendly pre season though, amazing set up at Broadhurst.
I may phone Chelsea. All knock~backs are very welcome

They would have qualified for the cup winners cup not the European cup. There is now a European tournament for non league clubs called the FENIX trophy I think winners of the lowland and highland leagues could apply to play in it.
I stand corrected. Would have been nice to watch the Real Madrid fans depart at singers station.

I always thought we brought significance and highlighted the great teams in these leagues from the small clubs to the major ones, Most should actually be playing at a higher level and becoming an important team in football History.
We have always lived on a shoe~string budget but the Steedman family knew their stuff. They got us promoted twice into the premier league and beat the Old Firm.
We are not being arrogant to move up, it’s just what Mr Jack Steedman & Co instilled. Money doesn’t bring fame and titles. Belief does.

I knew it was Eadie. What I do wonder though is if the poster who put the photo up is also Eadie or just a fan.
Thanks for clearing up my confusion though. You obviously have much more knowledge of illegal substances than I do.
Just a massive fan. I do have ginger hair which is really unacceptable.

Is that Marti Pellow in the middle there, before or after his torrid relationship with the white powder?
Bit harsh. Someone’s personal battle should be kept private,

Going by our guesstimate attendances at Kilbowie between 450 to 600 plus we are doing no three bad
ps. These attendance numbers were accordingly to Mr Steedman. Cough, cough, Wink! Wink!

Frank McDougall and Davy Cooper were my first hero’s @ Clydebank growing up.
Bill Munro will always be the Greatest manager.
Thank~you all for the special memories. You gave us hope and belief in ourselves

Three teams unbeaten. Beith, Hurlford & Pollok.
We always have been notoriously slow starters at most levels. . It’s our Achilles heel / tendon.

Think we signed Harry from Campsie Black watch because he scored 4 goals in 7 mins or 7 goals in 4. Something like that
Jeezus he was quick!

Really sad day for people connected to Clydebank FC, Stevie ‘Caskie’ McAneney has died. Caskie was the club commercial director, club kitman for many years, program editor and basically Mr Clydebank in my eyes. The passion and love he had for Clydebank was fantastic. Very sad to learn of the passing of a real gent, a great friend to many Bankies and someone who did so much for the club that it’s hard to write it all down. Thoughts with Stevies loved ones. A real sad day for Clydebank.

Thoughts are with his family.
RIP Caskie Mr Clydebank.

I’m actually so happy to be competing with the Bot & Lok etc. That is major. Unfortunately our attractive ️ football won’t win this league. Huge back~bone required to step up.

Never felt Dumbarton was a rival. I always looked at Partick and St Mirren. Then again the Sons looked @ Morton. Strange world derbies.

All Weir has is pace!
He’s not a natutal goal scorer and if he’s up against someone quick he’s useless.
Looked decent but the name of the game is getting the ball into the pokey.

In our past ~ As a community town club with a small budget have beaten the elite Old Firm. Got successfully to a Scottish cup semi~final v Celtic. Made the top Premier league. Raised ourselves up from the myre to a Junior semi ~ final and produce legendary footballers. I just hope we give other football teams a bitty hope in this league. Onwards and upwards.
Clydebank are not a well decorated club, no premier league titles, Scottish Cups etc...yes they beat as weak of Talbot albeit one that is building for seasons to come twice however given the money Clydebank has thrown at the team to win promotion then scraping two one goal victories against Talbot probably tells you more about Clydebank than anything.
