  1. I do get defensive when it comes to the club and the committee as I know exactly how hard they work to keep the club going. As Derek said we all pull together and off the pitch the changes around the ground and the pitch are different class. And from my perspective the players I'm trying to attract to the club are far happier with the set up of the league next season so for me it's all positive going into our centenary season
  2. There is always plans to improve the ground which the committee do brilliantly with very limited resources. The short term future is 100% local games with local interests. Spending 300-400 every second week this season has had a huge affect on the club.
  3. Disastrous season? League form has been below par yes but disastrous season is a pathetic comment
  4. They made the decision for the club to survive far more important than what league we play in.
  5. Cheers mate. Unfortunately we cant please everyone we have to do what's best for us as a club.
  6. Sorry lads took me 2 days to go through this. Like every manager I'm ambitious but I'm also realistic. I have a lengthy contract at fauldhouse which I'm grateful of for the support in my first job. What I can say is in the future it would need to be big job cause everything I have at Fauldhouse is superb. I know where yous are going regarding the question about the club progressing through leagues ect. What people need to understand is the junior set up is beneficial for fauldhouse financial wise and its future that's more important than individuals or leagues
  7. Well after last night's meeting this is the new set up for next season. As we can all agree this season has been horrendous regarding travel and fans attending games regularly. Hopefully under the new set up of more local derbys there will be a lot of local interest and more feasible for fans to make away games too. From my own perspective it now opens the door to attract players without travelling all over the place every other Saturday. And being our centenary season next season this is the perfect set up for us as a club financial wise and supporter wise. This season isn't done yet in regards theres 2 big cups I see as huge incentives.
  8. My reasons for backing the club on staying is purely the survival of the club. This season the cost of travelling to away games was a killer and still is. With this reconstruction its light at the end of the tunnel.
  9. As I've said my only interests are what's best for my club and clubs future and the south super is the one that ticks all the boxes for us as a club
  10. No disrespect but the teams in this set up wanted it and voted for it. The feedback I got was it was a better atmosphere last night at the meeting and lots of positive vibes
  11. Everyone will have their opinions and views but what's best for my club is all that matters to myself and players. From my angle having already spoken to players for next season the local set up is far more appealing. As I've said previously I've spent a large chunk of my football days in the juniors and have made great relationships on and off the pitch so there will always be a loyalty factor from myself personally to the junior game
  12. It's not about being boring its about local interests and the club surviving. With several local derbys it will bring the locals back out home and away
  13. Yeah mate. From a financial point of view brilliant for us. More locals will have an interest in more local games. Also have fans making away games
  14. I've spent most of my days in junior football and it's been a huge part of my life on and off the pitch I've always backed the grade and the people involved. I've no gripe with what other clubs do ect. But for me personally I'm very happy with circumstances we will be in next season
  15. There is a meeting on Tuesday and opinion c no change is the one that would be a disaster. And from only my own point of view I dont see any other option then to apply for EOS. Tuesday is a big night and it needs to be decided then to allow clubs to decide their clubs future existence before deadlines have passed with other options
  16. I'll answer any concerns fans have to the best I can without going too far into details about individual players different reasons but I can honestly say nobody is more frustrated than myself at times. Yes I agree sammy is an outstanding captain and leader. It's a huge boost I've managed to get him to sign for next season which hes never done before which the myself and club are chuffed to bits with. He's stood by me from day one which means a lot
