  1. We did but recognised that it’s tough running a junior football team and sometimes you just have to get on with it so that’s what we did without complaint on watching the game anywhere in the ground clearly after today’s antics that is not an option with several youngsters and the referee in fear for his safety that is not a option. All the best to you guys also
  2. Ps on the Ground we are a new club and trying our best to make the facilities as good as possible with limited resources it is not so long ago we happily changed in the dark when there was no electricity using phones to light the dressing room at Keppoch Park with no complaint before or after and enduring a heavy defeat
  3. Agree on the referee he caused most of the issues today No commment on Bob the Builder surely as a club you must condone that behaviour from a player of your club ?
  4. Glad you enjoyed the game Section G Shire making the substitution And bringing on the shire Manager who’s birthday it was today age 60 was clearly disrespectful and showed zero class ultimately it spurred a 10 man Cairn to action using the extra time generated by Shire to grab an equaliser in the dying seconds of the game. ultimatley they cost themselves the deserved 3 points The player who was so distraught at dropping 2 points at MTC Park and went for the tool box is a completely different story and should be run out of football and society in general it’s a game of football !! On a plus side young Chris the keeper was awarded man of the match we dust ourselves down and get ready for next weeks match #MTC

  8. Gartcairn are delighted to welcome a trio of summer signings to the club with all three new players coming from the local area, Darren Bowie who was at MTC last season on loan from Cumbernauld United has rejoined the Cairn on a permanent basis. Barry Mcgeechan also returns to MTC Park after his very successful time at Forth Wanderers where he was last seasons player of the season. Kevin Patrick McAllister completes the trio of signings a Goalkeeper who has previously been at Glencairn and Maryhill. Club Manager Jamie Mckenzie said he was delighted with the new signings who would bolster the current squad and with all three being from the Airdrie area it proves that there is a path way for local talent to progress into Junior football if they have the desire to progress. #MTC
