  1. For me, its about how sick and tired, frustrated even, that I support a Club, that literally cannae wait to get our best players out the door. I understand that we set a ballpark figure of £3m for our best player in f**k only knows how long, however that should have been the basement figure, the figure we'd accept weeks down the line from now. There should also have been a caveat in that ballpark figure that £3m was the basement price for clubs down by, while clubs in Scotland would be asked to pay a premium. Why? Well, not just because its Celtic and I fucking detest that club, and fucking idiot supporters like wastecoatwilly, but because we would be looking at better sell-ons and add-ons had he gone down south.

It also seems very, very rushed to me and I'm not quite sure why.

The overall feeling I have at the moment is one of complete disillusionment, not just with the Club but of the league set-up as a whole.

Maybe I'd have been better off supporting Rangers or Celtic

I would suggest that mighty well fans know their club better than a Dundee fan or a Celtic fan.
It doesn't matter what we think they should and shouldn't do with the dosh time will tell.
For me the good thing is the player is staying in Scotland and the dosh.
Hopefully the player will make the grade and fulfil his potential.

f**k off with this patter, ya complete and utter helmet

I understand the clubs position get as much as possible but not a good move for the player.
For me I've seen too many players going south and not fulfil their potential.
He will want first team football, wouldn't want him to go to Celtic if he stagnates on our bench.
If the agent is pulling the strings hes in trouble, there should still be a path way for the player to follow.

Aye you're right...there have never been any young players signed by Celtic from other Scottish Clubs, who haven't fulfilled their potential.

Tyler and Neville were downplaying him something rotten last night due to the fact that he has also played for a country they've probably never heard or, so he must be shite.  He was excellent IMO;  didn't give Sterling, Chillwell or Rashford a second.

I thought he was poor to be honest...also, if the Netherlands could find themselves a striker, they would take some stopping

    I feel fucking ancient.

My first one was in the first season "back" in the Premier in 85/86 - but I don't remember much. First game I remember clearly was a game a year or two later where we were 3-0 up against Dundee at half time - ended up in a 3-3 draw. Set the tone perfectly.

Haven't a clue when my 1st game was, but I'd hazard a guess that it will have been around about the same time...my memory has always been an issue though, I literally couldn't tell you who scored in our last couple of games of the season, never mind what happened in the 80s.

  6. A lot of that was down to Bellshill Maternity Hospital being the main birthplace of most of Lanrkshire and parts of Glasgow...however, there have been many bona fide Bellshill boys, who have made their name in fitba at all levels, from Legends, World Class, Senior Scottish level, down to boys in the Juniors.

The Juniors have had a real hard time of it for years now, and that can primarily be put down to the loss of their own ground to a housing developer who managed to get his hands on it, which in turn lead to years of being footballing nomads, which ultimately lead to a loss of support that they've never been able to re-gather despite being back in the town for a few years now.. The current committee are doing well to keep the Club going if you ask me

Who do you see in your minds eye when you look at each kit? In many cases there is a definite player whom I would immediately associate in my mind with a number of these kits. Does anyone else have this inner kit-vision or is it just me that is cursed with such shit power...?

    2017-19: Robertson, 2016-17(a): S. Fletcher, 2016-17: Griffiths, 2014-15(a): Brown, 2013-15: Hutton, 2011-13: Hutton, 2010-11: Hutton, 2008-09: Hartley, 2007-08(a): McFadden, 2006-08: Ferguson, 2005-07(a): D. Fletcher, 2005-06: K. Miller, 2004-06(3rd): K. Miller, 2002-03: Crawford, 1999-00(a): Hutchison, 1998-00: Hendry, 1996-99(a): Gallacher, 1996-98: Durie, 1994-96: McCoist, 1988-90(a): M. Johnston/M. MacLeod, 1988-90: M. Johnston, 1985-88(a): McAvennie, 1985-88: Nicholas.

And that's as far back as I can cast my minds eye... Strange the amount of Hutton love in there. It would no doubt add fuel to the raging P&B debate about him; that's if anyone actually cared about this shite topic...

    82-84 (h) Steve Archibald...82-85 (a) Jim Bett...85-88 (h) Mo Johnston, (a) Richard Gough...88-91 (h) Stewart McKimmie, (a) Alan McInally...91-94 (h) Ally McCoist, 91-93 Ally McCoist (a)...93-95 (a) Duncan Ferguson...94-96(h) Gary McAllister...95-96 (a) Colin Calderwood...96-98 (h) Gary McAllister...96-99 (a) Gordon Durie...98-00 Tom Boyd (h)...99-00 (a) Don Hutchison...00-02 (h) Christian Dailly...00-02 (a) Matt Elliott...02-03 (h)Gary Naysmith...02-03 (a) Gary Naysmith...03-05 (h) James McFadden...03-05 (a) Paul Hartley...04-06 (3rd) Gary Naysmith...05-06 (h) Gary Caldwell...05-07 (a) Nigel Quashie...06-08 (h) James McFadden...07-08 (a) James McFadden...08-09 (h) Darren Fletcher...10-11 (h) Darren Fletcher...11-12 (a) Kris Boyd...11-13 (h) Kenny Miller...11-13 (a) ???

    13-15 (h) Shaun Maloney...14-15 (a) Shaun Maloney...16-17 (h) Leigh Griffiths...16-17 (a) James Morrison...17-19 (h) Andy Robertson...18-19 (a) Ryan Fraser

Went back to early 80s and tried my best just to take a look at the kit and 1st name that popped into my head...only one that I can't think of anyone is 2011-13 away kit.

How are you getting on with the pitch situation? Has that settled down a bit? Sorry I’m not in the loop at all...

Also with Edusport finally settling down just along the road, is there any talk of being a feeder club in any way. Could be a good opportunity if you play it right. As a secret Jambo, I remember half our team were born in Bellshill back in the day, seems mad that you guys aren’t right up there in the junior ranks

there is one man to blame for that i'm afraid

Two excellent strikers certainly and two of my favourite Motherwell centre forwards in recent years.

However, I’d argue that they both had the luxury of Clarkson/Ojamaa playing off them, offering support and doing a lot of running for them.

You very rarely get a lone striker, who is no one playing off them though to be fair? Even the 2nd half of last season, Main had Hastie and Ariyibi either side of him, and Turnbull supporting
