On a reachable par 4? Or just in general?
As an aside, if someone is putting on an adjacent green (ie one within ear shot), I'd normally wait before hitting my tee shot. I once missed a 3 footer in a medal as I was put off by the sound of a guy murdering his drive into the trees and screaming "fucking fore" on the tee beside us.
Just in general mate, boy is on the green on a par 5 the boys 300 out and wits for green to clear!! If your tee shot has went 200 you ain’t reaching!!0 -
c***s who sign their scorecard on the green or leave their bag at the furthest point away from the next tee can only be described as subhuman scum
The bag thing annoys the life out of me.... there’s literally no need!! Another thing that I hate is people waiting until the people in front have holed out before they take a tee shot!!0 -
I'd say in our friendly games we generally concede anything within about 2 feet. Standing on a tee at a par 3 watching the group ahead take the time to hole out every single putt in what is clearly a bounce game is annoying TBH.
Lots of little things that folk do which only slow play by 'a tiny bit' are cumulative factors in slow play.
I only ever do it when we have nobody behind us, I used to do a putters length with him, I honestly think I’m doing him a favour because how many of us practice putts inside 3/4 feet?
I wouldn’t do it if we had folk behind us waiting, I was out with him the other day and we were stuck behind a 4 ball of a more mature age ( older women ) did they let us through??? Nope1 -
What’s everyone’s thoughts on a gimmie putt? I play with my mate often and I like to hole out every putt like a medal, he moans because I don’t give him putts from 3ft but he’s a terrible putter!!!!
I get that it slows play down a tiny bit but if you practice how you play in medals it can only be beneficial??0 -
f**k the restrictions set the table for 1 more - looks awesome
[emoji23][emoji23] im looking forward to it,0 -

Means taking the most brave and aggressive line, with lots of risk, cause you're a pure hero with the skills of Tiger. The Tiger line it is.
[emoji23][emoji23] I don’t do that deliberately1 -
Random but what the hell does a tiger line mean??? Every time I’m on the tee my mates say I’m taking a tiger line and I’ve literally not a clue what they are on about

Based on him being the far superior boxer
And this is based on 3 fights?? Fury has made a career of fighting low level opponents apart from wilder and klitschko! While AJ has fought a more higher level fighters on a regular basis, I’m not confident on Fury beating him and he won’t stop him!0 -
Canelo was exceptional last night, real top drawer performance.
Would like to see GGG get another shot at him though, given he was on the wrong end of two very bad decisions against him.
First one yes but I honestly think Canelo won the second fight comfortably!!
Can’t see anyone beating him now...0 -
Yeah it was a borderline spar for Canelo, his footwork and head movement is tremendous!!!!

To be fair you’ll need to jump through hoops to land a Canelo fight ..... I’ve signed up for DAZN £1.99 can’t be passed up! Start work at 6am the morn so going to wake up early for it! 5am ring walk?

What we thinking for Smith v Canelo? Im not really interested in the 3rd fight with GGG would like to see him fight Charlo! 6/1 on smith ko or TKO

I’m guessing the two nights in the lodge isn’t too cheap?
Nah mate it’s not that cheap!!! Looked at gleneagles for 2 nights and it’s a lot cheaper than that ..... very very expensive I was looking at about £1200 for 2 nights in July0 -
I may be a bit thick here but how come Whyte was mandatory for what seemed to be like 2 years but the WBC never called for it?? If I was Usyk I would take the step aside cash and fight the winner for undisputed!!

How much are the Archerfield courses to play? Do you have to stay there to get on?
We booked like a lodge thing for the Friday Saturday and golf is included! A guy I bowl with is a member at the Renaissance but it’s like a corporate thing and getting tee times is challenging! All I’ve heard about them is they are long courses0 -
Do you think it's overpriced?
For me it used to be a gem but they've ramped up the cost in recent years from about £30 per round to about £90!
Craigielaw v Kilspindie is a tough call. But so is Gullane 2 v Dunbar or Gullane 1 v Luffness or North Berwick west v The renaissance
Only east lothian courses I need to tick off are Archerfield (Fidra, Direton) Muirfield and Castle Park.
I get on for 15 as my mates a member down there but I would not pay £90 craigielaw I’ve not played yet but it’s flooded still from
Last week!
I’ve only ever played kilspindie, longniddry, Haddington, Carnoustie and the Glenn but I’m booked in for archerfield after the year for the weekend!
I’ve heard Dunbar and North Berwick west are great tracks1 -
Enjoyed my game down kilspindie.... wind was horrible but golf was decent the new wedges are unbelievable! The check and spin you get from them are something else
Delighted to eagle 2 on the 18th but was only a 260 tee shot, think I ended up 5/6 over, lovely course and easy in still conditions but today it was a test

One of my favourite courses that.
Enjoy.
Meant to me 20mph winds inland so down there it’s going to be wild but yes one of my favourite courses too, just loads of 4 balls which is a pain!1 -
Got my wedges today got the tiger wedges in 56 60 and 50 in the MG2 so bag all good to go for my game at kilspindie on Thursday

Seen the reviews on them. They look absolutely gorgeous
When I went for my fitting they are lovely to hit... feels so different from what I hit now!! Ordered them in like September tho so been a long wait!0 -

How many big names though? Only one I would say is Klitschko and he was 40 year old and a good 18 month out the ring by that point.
Imo opinion the rest are middle of the road type fighters but that's not wholly his fault as the division doesn't have a lot of depth. There isn't a name on his resume that Fury doesn't beat but jury is still out for on whether AJ could beat Wilder.
Also as much as I like Usyk I dont see how he beats Fury to be honest but could see him beating AJ
People tend to forget why he was out the ring for 18months!! I’m not sure if AJ beats wilder but his style not gives him a much better chance!
Yes I agree it’s not a lightweight devision with a list of top top fighters but it is what it is and within the weight class AJ still has fought the better fighters of that devision.... Fury has that 1 big win!
I honestly feel the other way, Usyk has to be the only boxer who would outsmart and outbox fury!!
It’s all opinion tho...just hope the fight happens0 -
Again based on what??? He very well may be but until he beats AJ or AJ beats him then you can’t have a definitive answer!

He’s a very good fighter!! I have a few of his mates on my Snapchat.... been on a mad one for 48hrs, the guy has all the potential in the world to be great but also has the mentality to become a total waster!
