You must be well connected mate...know what's going on inside the dressing rooms at Colville and Stewarton going on your posts on their thread. Any rumours/gossip about what's is happening with the 2 main amateur teams down my wayJust a tad of information that some of your players are grumbling behind the scene
i would expect that to be the least you have won with money you have spent0 -
I also took in this game and Harestanes were well worthy of the 3 points. Apart from a scramble in the box at the end of 1st half..st pats had no real chances and Harestanes defence were not really troubled. I think they play again in the West soon and reckon Harestanes will win that.Took in st pats v harestanes today and don’t see what all the hype is over st pats very poor first half from both teams took till the 40th minute before any decent effort was produced on goal.second half and harestanes took the lead and then added a second soon after should have had a stone wall penalty to add a third . St pats took off the two boys up front and went for the Ariel route to no avail just bullied out the game by a workman like harestanes team who left with a well deserved 3 points has the st pats bubble burst after the early season promise time will tell0 -
I agree with you 100% that players should concentrate on playing football. Would imagine clubs would prefer there players not to use social media. All I was saying is it will be difficult to controlThis isnt just about the weekend..been going on for months. The manager of ANY club should be able to act if the behaviour of players on social media is damaging the reputation of the club.
Time everyone got back to playing what they do best..play football.
Mick has already commented its in his plans to speak to players. Obviously he is offering some sort of guidance for a reason.0 -
From what I have seen on Twitter one of the st pats boys made a comment about a colville player who responded back. nothing much in it and if you are prepared to give a bit out on social media then need to take a bit back. Difficult for club's managers and commitee to control what players are posting on social media...I am sure they would rather the players didn't do it but other than having a word with them not alot else they can doMy intention was to speak to the boys the night about social media, they feel they take some amount of stick and wnat ti defend themselves.
I take your points on board about myself,
cheers mate take

Not heard about that...I do know that those 2 are close pals so would be surprised if that was true. Think it was just a case of Joe having chance to go back to a higher level rather than anything more sinisterYeh Joe had to leave because he battered Ciaran Mciroy after a game. So it was Ciaran or Joe and Joe was told to leave. That came from people within the club not rumours facts0 -
Aye very good player and will be badly missed. Can see them conceding a few more now and having to rely on there forwards to dig out some winsGood big player!!0 -
They have just lost there big centre back who is away back to kilwinning. Been alot more solid at the back this season compared to previous years with him in the side so can see that being a big blow to them.I agree St Pats are bottlers, great side with great players as well0 -
Took in the saints game as well and hard earned win for them. Tough start from them coming up against harestanes, colville and eastfield in opening few weeks of season so sure they will be delighted coming out of it with maximum points. Noticed there 2nd team playing on park next to them with a full squad of 16 as well. Must be carrying some size of squad, couple of the usual faces were missing as well

Is it Tony Watt?

Good interview and some sensible views from Tony. Think his idea of full time clubs having teams from under 12s to 18s and part time from 18s to reserves is a good one.

Is a rematch against stevenson a possibility for bellew. Gets him chance to correct 1 of the defeats on his record and if can get stevenson over to uk sure he would fill goodison again. Really intrigued to find out what bellew does next

In the build up to fight bellew was reminding haye at every opportunity that he was a small heavyweight. Dont know if it was the adrenaline that lead to him calling out wilder right after his win. Think that would be a step to far and would struggle against one of the bigger heavyweights. Would imagine wilder would fancy it although would he be willing to travel or would bellew need to go stateside. Mite be a chance for him to headline a vegas bout

First time poster on the boxing forum so be gentle on me... just wondering opinion on what next for bellew and haye? I know rematch was spoke about after bout but then bellew called out wilder and parker. Think haye if he ever returns will be after the rematch.. prob the most lucrative option for him and also mite be the only one. Bellew on other hand has plenty options... cruiserweight or heavyweight being 1st decision he needs to make then if he wants to go down road of rematch. Will be interested to see how this pans out.

Tough one for aitken to deal with. From media coverage the incident is getting it looks likely docherty will be up before the sfa and facing a ban. If he is missing a chunk of the remaining games does that make decision a bit easier and he gets binned?

Will docherty not be facing a lengthy ban if this is brought to the compliance officers attention. Seen this happening in amatuer game and boy got a years ban.. know pro game is different and will get 3-6 game ban at most. Hard one for club to deal with but if guilty docherty should be punted no matter how good a servant he has been
