  1. Sheerin pretty well briefed for that interview by the club/board.

Deans - “Remember and say that you are the first appointment of this board... and that we carried out our due diligence... and don’t call Corzo by his nickname”

Also volunteers or not, when can we bin the Falkirk TV guys. Brutal stuff.

The fans bid is basically those individuals who were taking up the patrons option available in the fan lead bid organised by Kenny j etc.

They offered to invest approx £600k in the club.

It's been secretive because like any big business deal there has to be done fort of confidentiality around it . The patrons have nothing to hide and everything would've been made clear once an agreement had been reached. Rawlins deal didn't happen over night. It has been going on for a while before it became known publicly.

The bod want the cash invested but don't want the guys ponying up the dough to have any real say in the running of the club. Rawlins has managed to basically take over the club by investing only 300k and getting 26 percent of the shares.  He's happy to get the fans money but that's it. He hasn't taken up his extra investment because he doesn't need to to get a hold on the club. Plus if the patrons buy 600k of shares then he would need to invest more money to keep his share percentage at 26 percent. The patrons bid also has individuals with a lot of football experience involved that could do Holt's job for nothing instead of a league one side shelling out 45k a year on a dof.

Cheers for the summary. Cleared a few issues up at least.

Would like to hear that other side of the story is. Club still in a total mess then by the sounds of it though.

Just trying to point you in the right direction. Don’t blame me if you can’t be bothered to go back and look.

Read it, zero answers. Usual pish replies and usual pish from others on this forum. Turning into that joke of a Facebook page. Thanks though Caractacus Pottzo.

  4. So much sh**e flying around on here. Go someone please just deal in facts.

    1. Who is involved in this fans bid? 2. What was the offer they made? 3. Why has it all been so secretive up until now? 4. What reasons did the club give for rejecting it? 5. What have the current BOD said that was so wrong when they rejected it?

    Cheers, BooBairn

  5. Agree with the point above regarding fan involvement and in a way that includes all fans.

I can imagine there’s also a fair few of these fans with deeper pockets than the rest of us who have their own agenda in mind.

The club is still a joke and appointing Paul Sheerin might be the right move but it far from solves the issue.

  6. Absolutely zero accountability for their actions in this mess. Deans is like the rest, brilliant at finding something or someone else to blame. Previously it’s been COVIDs fault, league reconstructions fault, the SPFL/SFA, the Scottish Government, Miller and McCracken, injuries...

...anyone apart from him and the rest of the board. Get him so far to f””k.

  7. At a loss for words to describe my current hatred for the club, however I’ll give it a good go.

The club was relegated 2 years ago today and we were told by Ray Mckinnon we needed a 2 year plan to get us back to the premier league (LOL). However he was technically correct by saying we needed a 2 year plan. That plan should not have involved him as he slinked out the back door of the stadium.

That plan then moved onto appointing 2 rookie and completely hopeless co-managers who hardly had a brain cell between them. Big Sexy and Big Herbalife was a complete joke. That setup at Raith away was enough to see them binned but nope... we cried about COVID, league reconstruction and anything that would hide the fact that we weren’t good enough to be top of the table.

To this season, Partick gave us a 14 game head start in what turned out to be a 22 game season. You’d maybe think they pipped us to the post and to be fair that sometimes happens. But nope, what happened was we finished 5th in a part time league with an 8 point gap only a few weeks ago.

Ultimately these issues aren’t solved easily and this story is far from over as a club unless there’s a serious change. That change has to start with the players going, a new chairman and some way to sort out the current joke of a board. I wasn’t in the camp that blamed Holt but no way can he now appoint our new manager and sit in the stand as DOF after overseeing this complete disaster. He has to go too!

Solving this will take a monumental effort from fans to force the change.

You forgot about the wonderful intervention by our then commercial manager threatening legal action against our own support for copyright infringement on something that wasn’t covered by a copyright.

Added mate. Extras so far are:

    1. Club badge copyright debacle  2. Alan Gow.  3. Kenny Rogers / Mark Campbell saga.  4. The “Our Time” and “Follow Your Leaders” embarrassing campaigns.  5. The “Superfan” shockingly being a pure and utter c*ck to real fans.

I think its unfair to put Rory Loy in.

He might have sparked some dressing room unrest that kicked off Housties demise, but he had issues we didnt know about that are more important than football by all accounts, and was on paper an excellent signing. He was very good with St Mirren during their resurgence from relegation bound to form team then Champions and they wpuld have loved to have him back.

I get why you put him in, I just think its a bit harsh

Whether its harsh or not he ultimately makes the list of disasters over the past few years.

  10. It’s easy to be frustrated and place blame at Gary Holt and this character “Corrzo”... but you certainly  can’t blame them for the turgid football we’ve seen over the past year, the horrendous set up away at Raith last year, signing Todd, Hall, Dowds, Francis etc. That lies solely with Miller and McCracken.

  11. The most alarming part of the interview was the fact that 4 people are involved in process on deciding shape and starting XI and that’s what we’ve come up with recently. Like who the f*ck is actually in charge?

The most pleasing part was that it showed how aware they are of the fans views/opinion right now. Very different interview to what we’ve had before. He knows they are finished if they don’t get it right.

  12. Biggest positive today was the Cove commentary. Fair play... much better than the p*sh we produce.

Let alone the performance and final result.... surely it’s a sackable offence to go with that messy line up / formation and then bringing on Scott Mercer to try improve things. Get them binned.
