You’ll get him on loan and deal with it.
You can have McKirdy and Tavares for free?
Tavares looked quite impressive during Lewis Vaughans testimonial.

The young lad from E.Kilbride, we don't know what his circumstances are. He might be serving an apprenticeship somewhere and after speaking with his family he might want to finish that first before going full-time or he might be looking a bit closer to home with someone like Hamilton or Airdrie.

Aye you’re probably right , just below it there was a Livi repost.
Are you guys keeping Ethan Ross ? He was brilliant in flashes for us but just not consistent in the Championship.
Ross has been released

After Andy Barrowmans interview about youth development, I wonder if we'll offer a contract to the young lad that played a few times during preseason

The silence coming from the club ref contracts, who's being kept, who's released etc is deafening

The artificial pitch rule could be a massive issue to us. As stated the staduim owner has the business model for it to pay for itself through pitch use. What is to say that the staduim owner just says no we are not changing?. It's going to be some amount if cash yo buy him out.
Chuck some grass seed on it and call it a hybrid pitch, problem solved

That’s absolutely disastrous for us.
Our entire business model is based on being able to use Starks park for more than the first team games 20 times a season.
I wonder if there’s any form of appeal for this or is that it?
Also very odd that there’s no mention in the article of how many teams voted to pass the resolution.
The ‘we can’t afford to go up’ thing has always been a load of nonsense but if we were to get promoted this coming season then there could be genuine ‘we can’t afford to go up unless we’re really sure we’re not coming back down for a lot of years’.
10,000 seater stadium-style pish coming to shaft Raith Rovers once again.
Yip, Falkirk pumped all their money into offering players big wages after selling Brockville. They won the league quite a few times during that period, stopping anyone who had spent their money on 10k seats from being promoted. Think the Pars won it before they changed it to 6k seater and it didn't have to be permanent seating so that Inverness could get promoted to the Premier.

Will be interesting to keep an eye on Hannah this year. At the POTY ball, Murray was talking a bit about him when he won the Young Player award. He actually mentioned that they don't yet know what his best position will be. He should learn plenty from Stevenson though, regardless of whether he ends up as a left back or not.
He's definitely built like a CB

Anybody know what our record for season ticket sales is?

Andy Barrowman was talking about one deal that has been on the cards/ongoing since last summer, I'm assuming that's Stevenson. I think Corr will decide to move on. His family were very vocal about him not playing and with the possibility of another cb coming in I can't see him getting a lot of game time this year. There's a lot of Prem players that've been released. A lot of defenders and forwards, not many midfielders which won't please Murray

Am I reading too much into the Rovers quiz. Shaun Byrne still here and in training kit. I know he's been heavily linked with Livi in the Daily Rag. Just dawned on me, Quiz might've been recorded last week and only just posted it though.

2007. The game where Christ Aitken decided he was Andrea Pirlo for the day. Albion also had a young Robert Snodgrass in the team that day.
That's the very one

Pretty shite draw to be honest.
I'll probably go to County away as long as it's a Saturday 3pm kick off but definitely not for a midweek.
Stirling away is good for me as it's the closest team in the competition to my house. In the 10 years since I moved here Rovers have only played at Forthbank once...and I was at a wedding that day.
Last time I was at Forthbank was a long time ago. If memory serves me right we got gubbed 3-1 in the playoffs.

He was beyond useless for us in the 22/23 season. Lazy, arrogant, and not anywhere good enough to justify it.
Apparently he's grown out of that mentality and is turning into a really good player

If Celtic have anymore of these we’ll take two. Can’t say I’ve ever experienced much openly expressed sympathy with either side of the Old Firm at Rovers games, maybe the odd wee muppet in the young team and that guy with the flag but that’s about it, oh and Drysdale giving players away .
My ex army pal goes to watch Shamrock Rovers and reckons Johnny Kenny would be a good loan deal for us. Was on loan to them from Celtic last season. Decent striker apparently.

Oakley the guy who signed for Ayr?
Was just checking Google and they've still got him with Morton at the moment. Hadn't seen that he'd signed a PCA

Can see the Pars going for George Oakly to solve their striker problems.
The reason we got Rudden, Byrne and Ashcroft is that they were surplus to requirements at Dundee. I'm sure they'll all be in demand from championship teams but I'd like to think that Ashcroft and Byrne would be offered a contract with us, wouldn't take Rudden though, think he'll end up either at Partick or Morton if he's lucky. Hanlon is an interesting one, imagine having him, Ashcroft, Murray and Corr as our 4 choices of CB.
Will be interesting to see where players like David Wotherspoon and Jay Bird end up
