Images now of Edinburgh City changing their name to FC Edinburgh so the social club don't sue them only for a Clyde fan and his mates from the 80s suing them instead.
Be suing no one, as a Clyde fan been through enough shit over the years, all the best lads hope you get to a stage that you take ownership and/or have a strong affinity with your club without all the politics..... been trying to search the newspaper archives for the Friday edition of the Evening News that occasionally gave the fixtures and tables for Sunday amateurs, we did win the 2nd division mid/late 80's!!....
just remember if there is a "hall of fame" or guest of honour for FC Edinburgh diner then give me a shout....

Just an aside, was Player/Manager of FC Edinburgh around 1985/6-1989, playing Sunday amateur when living in Gorgie.......... all the best lads..........

Remember playing 5's at the Pitz in Hamilton in a league set-up in the early 90's and we had Willie Irvine former Hibs centre-forward in our team. I remember doing all the grafted battered and bruised stuff and laying the ball back to Willie for all the glory to strike sweetly from any angle, the ball never raised above 6 inches from the deck, it was apparent that the auld pro's were a class above.........

£500k for a 32 year old L1 striker???
You should probably hold another poll amongst your membership as to the fee acceptable in the circumstance. It's a pity you missed out on Philippe Coutinho, the membership must be raging that Holt couldn't get this over the line before being papped.... Anyway still enjoyed the 3 points during the festive period.....

Still very raw, and talking purely on the football activities, we've been involved (hasten to add not played) in three cup competitions and drew with EK, lost to both Broomhill and Clydebank (no disrespect to the aforementioned clubs, one adverse result may be tolerable for a one off cup tie, however all three!!) and therefore not progressed in the cups to the next rounds which automatically provides much needed income through progression and/or gate receipts depending on the draw. Failings therefore puts much more strain on revenue income which we greatly require. Unacceptable from a footballing perspective in not achieving targets.
Valid points made previously over recent posts by other suffering fans regarding the hierarchy, structure, direction and support mechanisms.
Might be worth bringing John Rankin back to the club?...........

OMG, how inept was that, half hearted, lack of desire, how do you reverse that form, and that was only a 4 minute clip, you'd be lucky to pick anyone decent in the January window!!... so much for fortress Broadwood, and to make it worst Ballantyne's running amok, there oot the family will

If Gomis is going to be our next legend then maybe the "Jimmy Gomis Chant" from his Dundee United days may be a good shout, check it out on you tube or www.fanschants.com
Change the lyrics from " Jimmy Gomis f$@king hates Dundee" to "Jimmy Gomis loves the Bully Wee" nah nah nah nah nah etc..............

Constantly giving poor free kicks away and no surprise that we get punished from a set play. Hopefully the dugmeat comes back and bite's you on the arse, however I have my doubts!....

Well said. A quick recovery for the four individuals.
Now SPFL to award a 3-0 victory to East Fife.
If only we can play you every week Sweet cheeks. I'II book hospitality for Broawood for you next time, as you wouldn't wish to spend your giro on seeing the Gypses pump you again. Respect and stay safe

West Ham striker will be here for our first friendly, possible against a junior side maybe east Kilbride or Kelty hearts. Or maybe a team from lower division say Clyde anyway we will need a few games to get team to gel,

Brilliant, an absolute Diamond................in all fairness 5 months without fitba, and reading the debacles of the SPFL, we could effectively be playing in the the sevco 2012 fantasy "Atlantic League".............remember that being muted a few years ago!!.....

Did try and order merchandise from the current supplier and they wanted a delivery charge of £15 over and above the items, so they got he-haw unfortunately, will only be buying from the NDP stadium shop in future which should be 100000% better option than we had at Broadwood latterly. Maybe should have stayed with the previous supplier!!....
