  1. You would have to ask a current or previous committee member maybe they will explain the ins and outs of where the money has gone and why there was no contingency in place when they seen it was running out.
  2. Still doesn’t have any relevance to my point. I’m sure I seen Musselburgh had 2/300 at their game against nitten last week that’s the comparison which helps attract sponsorship or gives you a better chance.
  3. How is that talking shite against the teams I have quoted? Read the post
  4. Your spot on and in a few years the likes of the uni teams, vale, Dalbeattie etx will all be out the league of the Bonnyrigg’s, Penicuik, Linlithgows of the world get up. Way it should be to be fair ambitious teams with the right backing and infrastructure should all be in the top the leagues leagues as long as they merit it and work to get there
  5. The well ran dry and not enough finance brought in maybe? It’s one thing having nice programmes, another thing altogether being able to finance a decent side for the lowland league these days. Club has a tiny fan base in comparison to your rose, nitten and Penicuik etc which doesn’t help either.
  6. That’s the point last season was the first season the club has not had the big or even decent budget in comparison to previous years that’s no coincidence the decline, and the changing of managers hasn’t helped I guess. Any way I will return to abeyance as don’t want to upset anyone, bring back deejay :-) lol
  7. But that’s part of my point around bad management, yous thought Bingham, Smally, jock were all shite and now if you believe what’s been posted we have a manager who’s not won a game and is likely to join nitten months after taking up the position, that’s just crazy. Problem as I see it is stability and patience. We have seen a countless amount of young lads feature last few years and recently yes they have left for one reason or another o take that point. Youth is definitely the way ahead when you don’t have the funds like a kelty and EK.
  8. How do you know the budget and on what money players have come In on? You rtalking nonsense there’s players there on 300 a season in the lowland league come on wake up your only going to get so far with that.
  9. 1) So ye were nowhere near the game today yet are comparing 2 6 goal defeats - results yes 2) Did you read kayemphoto s post ? - yes I did and your point is in a 6-2 defeat? 3) Budgets ? - yes is not rocket science as you say comparing Whitehill to kelty coincidence I think not Yer no telling me that the likes of Strollers,/Vale have better budgets than WW ? - yes I am and if you were close enough to it you would know that’s the case we couldn’t compete when trying to sign players who got offered more are both these clubs which is a fact not hearsay 4) Has any of the umpteen managers you say gone onto better things ? - irrelevant really, so WW have retired then all what a claim. More to the point what have Whitehill went on to achieve? 5) Have i called players rats leaving sinking ships ? - yes you have check your previous posts 6) So who's fault is it ? - without doubt the people who have run the club over the last number of years. To leave the club with absolutely no money 2 years ago is unforgivable. Mind I’d be interested to hear the programme mans view on this?
  10. Happy to have a conversation and I don’t want to get into insults like c***s hiding behind keyboards. I wasn’t there today no so can’t comment on the performance. Unfortunately the result was as I feared and I’m not in all honesty surpised. It’s been dismissed on here about budgets and finances by some and how that can be implied that it’s not a relevant factor beggars belief. You’ve suggested the same in your post earlier yet slaughters previous management for similar results under the same constraints. The club has had 3 managers this season alone and umpteen in the last 5 seasons, they can’t all be bad and if they are the club is at fault for hiring them or for not having sufficient finances to compete. ive also found it amusing suggesting players as rats deserting the sinking ship when the people who played their part in letting the club get into this state were happy to walk away and absolve themselves from any blame. The people who put their head above the parapet and pick up the pieces yes errors have been made but it’s not entirely their faults imo. What do you make of that?
  11. What you mean between those and the people who greet when their name is referred to lol strange very strange comment. Mr Broon some consistency please
  12. Simmer down your the one I’ve watched umpteen times recently tell everyone that posts that everyone knows who you are and PM me this and that, very strange you have taken umbrage to that. i will single out which poster makes which comment I want to respond to thank you very much, or do you want me to PM you with who I am to see how Whitehill I am before my comments carry weight.
  13. I’ve been watching from afar and to be honest glad to be discussing the football rather than the car crash this thread has been last few weeks. The result In between isn’t my point Davy its your reaction to this one when I witnesses along with everyone else you slaughtering the team and management at the time for the same result by and large. As magoo has said the reality is when you have a budget of peanuts compared to kelty and the likes results like this arnt too surprising. Anyone who thinks different is simply deluded.
  14. I don’t remember you being so diplomatic with the correspondent fixture when it was by and large the same result, what’s changed?
  15. Is this guess who or do you actually want to name who it is?
  16. Ok sure there will be people wanting to take on the challange that’s for sure.
  17. Let’s be honest the club has bigger things to concern themselves with at this stage than you constantly going on about an individual who left the club months ago. Regardless of my own feelings about the last few years I don’t think a manager leaving and certain players wanting to leave as a result is such ground breaking stuff as you would put it. You clearly don’t like the guy we get that just leave it at that and focus on the current and future, it’s getting tiresome. I think the club need to be commended for acting,’some would say too late but there’s still along season to go and loss of points up for grabs.
  18. I think that’s rich coming from you where almost every post criticises the previous management. Any club in this position has to accept criticism about all aspects, players, management, committe etc. Please don’t you mention facts as you clearly don’t use facts and tend to make up things to suit your agenda. Teams on the beach recent comment where you got shot down springs to mind. Ultimately the committe will decide on football matters if your not happy with management or players voice it to them. I think these people who you suggest have family / agendas etc, they see a lot more games than you do so are entitled and dare I say better placed to share an opinion on what they see. But they havnt supported Whitehill for as long as you so that won’t be relevant.
  19. It’s like Groundhog Day on this thread. I think we need to move on and look forward. Regardless of opinions what shouldn’t be lost on people especially supporters of the club or Infact any club is that people give up a hell of a lot of their time to try do a good job. Sometimes it works sometimes it doesn’t but you can at least respect them for their efforts.
  20. It’s been done to death wether it’s current manager, previous manager, players, current committee to blame who all may have a part to play in one way or another. On the other hand you have posters on about the really good committe men that left, isn’t it these same committe men that let the biscuit tin go dry and left other guys to pick up the pieces to keep the club going. It’s easy to associate yourself with a club when everything is in a healthy state, far more difficult to fight to get it back there and go out and bring in the money to do it. Either way the current committe have to do what they see best rightly or wrongly.
  21. Was surprised to see that signing to be fair as don’t think he was playing at Gala. Good luck to the lad tho
  22. Yup a terrible end to the season but we certainly didn’t stay up taking points from teams on the beach. As you say old ground let’s look forward
