Killie won’t go bust with two committed directors worth 100 million between them.

100 m and growing. Our wage bill is around £45 000 per week for the squad, obviously this season is going well and season tickets are over 5000 with good sponsorship deals and record sales in the club shop. Why wouldn’t Bowie and McLeish take a punt this year?

The big 3 diddies (Hearts, Hibs and Aberdeen) play on a minimum of a tenth of the playing budget that the Uglies have. They cannot afford to shop in the market that the uglies go to and their turnovers are in the 15-20m against turnovers pushing 80-100m.  The big diddies turnovers are inflated to that level by the inputs from James Anderson and FoH,   Dave Cormack and RedDNA and the Gordon Family. If they were run without "donations" they you can slice a third of that turnover off for starters. All three have a proud record as well of signing some utter shite. A top player at the diddies will earn between 4 and 7k a week, at Celtic or Rangers add 20 - 30k to that. You get what you can afford. Occasionally one will get a result off the uglies but it's more the exception than the rule.

All 3 clubs play on normal grass pitches so don't have the advantage of playing on a plastic pitch like yourselves that really should not be allowed in top flight football.

Is that the plastic pitch that we got relegated on and have had our fair share of defeats over the years. Never heard many complaints when we were getting our arses tanned on it every other week but now we have a decent team it’s all the pitch. A generation of players have now came through playing predominantly on astro, all top teams train on them but feck me let’s jump on the misinformed bandwagon.

Tbf, I’d rather there more like you guys and less of the arsecheeks of Glasgow. I think the one thing in common with Ayr and Killie fans is we all hate rangers and Celtic more than each other

Problem is when we play you guys all the local **** come out to boost your crowd, we’ve had 30 years of being in the same league as them and we’ve now got a generation who hate the b*****ds. Don’t particularly like you guys but totally respect the local team thing and will shout you on at Ibrox.

The hvn in you lot is never far away

Oh I can assure you I’m not a *** or the other, been in the top league long enough to despise them both. Scott Brown behaved like a fanny many a time at Rugby Park but to be fair he’s actually came across not too bad since he left the circus. I’ll say it again Jack Sanders will be a great signing with the proper players around him.

I'm actually quite gutted about this draw tbh. Passionately hate Sevco, their patter, their arrogance and their need to bring religion into everything.

It's amazing that half my son's football team are all out diehard Kilmarnock fans, until Sevco get Ayr at Ibrox.

    I hate Gloryseekers.

Funny that my boy plays for Valspar and out of 18 boys , 2 Killie fans, 2 Ayr fans, 1 Celtic and the rest **** of which all their parents turn up like an advertisement for the Rangers catalogue.

Wales has been excellent for us and even before he started his three in three goal scoring run you could see there was a really good player there.

Very exciting to watch as he is direct, quick and an excellent dribbler, now he has got the goals as well, will only help his confidence.

I am obviously biased but think at 18 regular football in League 1 with us will only make him better. If he went to a Championship team might struggle to get as many starts.

Stevie May was on loan at us in League 2 and Ross Stewart in League 1 and both have gone onto good careers.

As a Killie fan who spent the first year of his life in Alloa I agree.

Wouldn't be surprised seen Kerr Smith leave Dundee United for Aston Villa and Justin Devenny leave Airdrie to join Crystal Palace in the last few years and can see Bobby as a player who can make it far.

Unfortunately it’s going to be the way now for all Scottish clubs, English clubs are taking a chance by swooping up all the potential coming from our youth systems.

A lassie I know went out with a Northern Irish guy who was a policeman in Kilmarnock. I asked him how he was enjoying it. He said they on a Friday night, it just seems like guys go out in groups looking for a fight and if they can’t get one, they just fight with each other.

And he was from Northern Ireland

    Nice story
