  1. Please note that Hibs fans will have to buy tickets from hibs. The link will only work for home end tickets (or hospitality). Seems that Hibs and Morton are not as greedy as Aberdeen (who demanded the prices be atleast £3 higher)
  2. Hibs scottish cup prices confirmed £15 adults, £10 concessions, £5 kids (same as the morton game).
  3. Well, I will be going to the match as part of my promise to go to every away game this season (felt I needed to after the lockdown season). I missed out going to the play off final game but the only match at ibrox I've been to in the past was the first meeting in the 2012 league cup (3-0 loss). Also I have been to 8 away games this season lost 5, drew 2, won 1. Maybe its our time to turn this ibrox league curse around?
  4. Tbf that was our structure before Robison came in and he did well with it at first. The issue was basically him making 4 different squads within 3 seasons and the finall season was a last ditch effort. I think the board didn't want him to leave either but he knew he couldn't resolve the issue and didn't want to continue with it. Thank god Alexander was avilable. Otherwise we might have gotten another Mcghee or Baraclough in. Amd while I hope he is successful at St mirren I would rather he be "below Motherwell" terms of successful. 5th place could still be a European spot this season after all.
  5. As long as you don't go to sell your entire squad (or let them go out of contract) each summer then he should be a great fit. That's what killed his motherwell career and almost got us stuck in a relegation battle. We have learned from this and have offered longer term contracts as well as reducing the amount of duds being Brought in on "a chance" they are any good. Still keep your expectations in check. He isn't suddenly going to win the league or guarante European football. Also he might sign his son again.
  6. 12.30pm kick off on Sunday 13th March for the Scottish Cup Quarter final Against Hibs. Also on BBC One Scotland.
  7. Confirmation from the Scottish cup twitter about the dates BBC Scotland for the Hearts vs St Mirren Game. BBC One Scotland for the Well Vs Hibs. Those are 2 different channels so make sure you are watching the right one if your not going to either match.
  8. Speak of the devil. Our game is a 12.30pm kick off on Sunday 13th March.
  9. Dundee vs Motherwell in the 19/20 scottish cup was a Saturday 7.20pm kick off on the BBC.
  10. Possibly today. ST mirren vs Hearts has been confirmed (Sat at 7.45pm) but Dundee United have stated they will need to wait until Friday to finalise dates (either the Sunday or Monday). I would assume we would get the early Saturday slot but we should find out shortly.
  11. Hopefully Dundee and "I almost got the celtic job once before" McGhee can give the rest of us a favour and take some points from this. That would leave 4 teams on 34 points and sets up a very entertaining last 6 matches.
  12. Regarding the seating, it was probably decided after the situation from the cup game. If there was more than 1000 sold then they would have undoubtedly opened up the lower section but today there was only 800 away fans. Last week there were 2,000. Also, Gallagher fit into our style of play more than Aberdeens. He's not THAT great but I just love it after he threw his toys out of the pram. There's a reason why Van Veen kept teasing and battling him.
  13. We havent been playing badly recently but the fact we are on course for 2 points from our last 7 games screams that we are having a nightmare (with the real nightmare coming next sunday). Realistically all the teams we have played recently are either challenging or are within the top 6. If we can't beat any of these teams then how the he'll do we expect to finish in the top half. We really need an early goal this second half or otherwise we will just collapse in the last 30. May be March will be our month.
  14. Really stupid goal to give away. And tbh I don't see us coming back from this. Van veen looks fucked up and is holding his shoulder constantly and it doesn't appear to be anyone elsse who could score.
  15. Its great news as he's been a solid part of the defense recently. It not the fact that he is staying for longer but the chance to get a transfer fee for him in the worst case scenario. An English team coming in and giving us £2mil for him? I wouldn't say no.
  16. Yeah, I'm not going to argue with the ground staff unless o want to become part of the new turf.
  17. A shame you guys just missed out on Mark McGhee. Seemed like a shoe in if Dundee didn't move first..... ...jk But in all seriousness, I think Jack Ross is the most likely candidate. He's been with St Mirren before and is currently free so it would be the best fit. Unless it's time for lennIN?
  18. I think thats one of our issues. Our pitch is so good now that we cannot get used to sub par quality pitches that other teams use. It makes it more difficult to win away from home.
  19. The only thing that I would worry about is the 3 home games within 10 days. Does anyone believe the pitch will last especially with the wintery wet weather expected around those times?
  20. Thats Alexander back in form Misses the Aberdeen and Rangers games.
  21. Well looks like Alexander's banned from the touchline for this and the Rangers game. Don't know if this will affect this game that much.
  22. So the games that we have before the split February Aberdeen (home) Rangers (Away) March Ross County (Home) Dundee (Home) Hibs (Home - Cup) St johnstone (Away) April St Mirren (Home) Livingston (Away) Looking at this, the only game that I don't see us having a chance of winning is the Rangers game. Out of these games I would expect us to win mostmof the Home matches and hopefully get some results on the road. January and February haven't been good months this year but I still believe March will be the make or break part of the season. If we get mostly wins in March and April, especially against Hibs then the whole dynamic of the season returns the happy go lucky feeling from the first round of fixtures. If we don't then we become a disappointing bottom 6 side. Let's hope for the best.
