I'd give the entire Motherwell squad the MOTM award if we win today. Some issues but this squad is what we should have been like at the start of the season. Signing Cole again was a god send.

We are no entering the timeperiod were we exhausted ourselves and slip up. I hope that we are able to keep this up....

If we win today then Cole has to be given the Man of the Match award.

Any hope to win today rests on us scoring a second. So many time this season we are 1-0 up and the throw it away late on. I hope I am wrong and we win today but if you were offering me a point at this stage I would take it.

Yeah, but easily we could end up with 4 games in 8 days type of situation due to other fixtures (St Mirren still have to play Celtic as well as us and Hamilton i believe). we have 2 difficult games coming up and an easier tie after that rather than a break might actually help us toward moving up the table.

Just a shame that both Kilmarnock and St Mirren had games moved to the 30th January slot. We could have easily had the Hamilton vs St Mirren and Kilmarnock vs Motherwell Games during that time frame.

A really dire point to note is that we never really score more than 1 goal in most games. Even with a much better keeper and a semi-competent defence, we are still struggling to make anything from the games we play, and when we do get that goal then the siege mentality comes into play (with ourselves being the ones sieged). Honestly, the only thing that would brighten up this miserable season is if we get a win/draw against Aberdeen, other results go our way and we get a result in our favour regarding the appeals panel on Thursday.

Feels more like the rangers game. First half get a goal and defend, then shit the bed in the second half. Another must win game where we have failed to win. Now we have Aberdeen and Rangers so i doubt we wont be bottom by the time those games have passed. If the appeals panel reinstate the forfeited then we dp gain a saftey net but really dissapointing to drop points. We really need to get actual wins on-board.

A st Mirren win written all over this tie. While Kelly maybe our keeper solution i dont see how the rest of the squad can even come close toeeting St Mirrens performance levels. Prediction: 3-0 Motherwell.

Thats 5 keepers that will have played for us this season (not counting Morrison who has just came back from his loan). Absoljtley mental. Uts a shame that Carson is out injured but hopefully he will get back to full fitness soon and we dont ha e to drop him into the deep end and risk injury. 0 points out of 3 so far. Honestly the more this season drags, the more that I hope something happens to let us finish in 10th. The whole Forfeit games might end up saving our season if the punishments are reinstated. It would be 2002 all over again. Don't see us taking anything from the St Mirren game next week as well, and then Aberdeen and Rangers....

Most of the squad has to go. May aswell get the youth in as I don't see many of our squad giving a f**k now.

The only way this season can be saved is if we get the walk overs from St Mirren and Kilmarnock. Also if they both get a further poinysts deduction. Thats how bad it is currently.
