  1. I'm hoping that the infrastructure part of the 5 year plan is now in the end game and we can look to now put the playing part more on the front foot, I'm not saying Smith is going to start throwing money about but some investment to make the team worthy of the new stand.
  2. It does come across that with the success the academy has has off the field with the UEFA award they are desperate to see that reflected on the field as well either it's Bryden, Mackenzie beeing shoehorned in to any position or the desperation to make young Tomlinson a full back, let it happen naturally and if we find a gem great, at the moment the two best prospects look like Ollie Ecrepont or Dylan Watret both who look like they have had productive loans at East Stirlingshire.
  3. Just seen the goal from yesterday Clark needs to do better and hold that IMO, wee bit worried if he's the target to be number 1 next year, Mutch is not much better and I think we are still a year out from Ecrepont beeing more than the cup keeper.
  4. To be completely honest I'm problem voting with the he's one of own blinkers on.
  5. Player of the year - Murphy Young Player - Bryden Goal - Chalmers V ICT for me
  6. It's does not need to be a complete rebuild as long as the players that come in are of a better standard that the ones leaving I'd rather have 4 or 5 quality additions to compliment the players we have than 10 of the same quality that's already here.
  7. We also have Whittaker who was a very good defender in his day to coach the back line Brown can coach the midfield and bring in McFadden to coach the strikers and we are all set (tongue in cheek here)
  8. Sanders might actually work quite well in a back five as the right side of the three center backs, has a bit of pace, can pick out pass if Brown can coach out the brain farts (the send goal against Raith is a stand out for me) he could do well.
  9. It's all good having a lovely new stand but we need a couple of things to fill it, one of them is a player who excites you and gets you off your newly padded seats, Chalmers can do that and yes if he was doing it regularly he would not be on loan at us he'd be playing for Dundee United or back down south but Browns not daft he knows he good for at least 8 to 10 goals a season and probably the same on assists I definitely think he will be trying to make the move to get him on board for next year.
  10. Would I rather have Chalmers lining up for us or clubs round about us 100% I would, yeah he's inconsistent at times but in 34 games he has 11 goals and 8 assists over his two loan spells for us that's more than a goal contribution every 2nd game, he has some moments of genius the pass to rose to put him through against thistle early on this season sticks out, I think we would be crazy not to sign him if he wants to sign on permanently
  11. I'm not saying MaCallister has turned into a first choice championship level full back but Brown has developed him more in 4 months that Hopkin, Duffy and Bullen did in almost 3 years
