  1. I'm not surprised Glenburn are a very good side, obviously found their shooting boots from when they played us

Eastfield are favourites but Shortlees in their day can beat anyone. Glenburn destroying Drumchapel in West today was a shock to some
  2. Yeah Fintry changed their name from Douglas last season

The Drum are a reletively young side and have a few very good attacking players. They will have a go thats for sure!
Dont know anything about Fintry, heard its mainly the Douglas team thst put Colville out couple seasons ago? If case theyll be no mugs.
Think that all 4 ties will be reletively close affairs, wouldnt be surprised if a replay or 2 is needed.
Eastfield definetely the team to beat, starting to motor now and they have the best squad of players imo.
Be surprised if they dont win it.
  3. I think all games will be close, Drumchapel not doing too well in the league but had a few impressive cup wins in the Scottish and the West, league position doesn't reflect the team they are in arguably the strongest league in Scotland

  4. Cunny I'd take no notice of him m8, he has nothing to do with Sandy's either, obviously people have opinions, any body knows you have an off day this far in the competition your out, regardless if favourites or not

They very well might, we have no given right to be beating anyone at this stage. It's all about being at your very best on the day mate. Good luck.
  5. I agree it definitely is, hopefully avoid each other

I know it's a few teams out from the last 16 but thats because they had 7 out of 16 in it. Im not from the east but I would have thought 7 in the last 16 is a pretty decent season and 2, possibly 3, in the last 8 is also very good.
  6. Glenburn a very good side, wasnt too impressed when watched them against Southside but was a different side against us, and should be disappointed not to at least come away with a replay but Fintry were not at their best so were there for the taking. In front of goal is where it matters though and it was the Glenburn keeper who was being tested not ours, until the last 10 mins when Glenburn had nothing to lose but our keeper was solid and we see the game out, that's football. surely no team is rotten who's made the last 8.

  7. Terrible shout get in the last 8, beat Thorn and Glenburn on the way but we're rotten, all about goals lads, thought Glenburn were better on the ball but obviously we were better in front of goal on the day

  8. Didn't have the best of games yesterday but still managed to put your team out m8, think that says alot, bye driverrrrrrf

Correct mate there performance was an embarrassment. Fintry are rotten.
  9. A bit disrespectful thinking it would be a surprise if we beat Glenburn, I'm sure Glenburn are a good side and will know their in for a hard fought game up in Dundee, but every team in the 16 is there on merit and for me I wont be surprised if theirs a few so called upsets just my opinion

  10. Eastfield, Shortlees probably favourites bud and will take a good team to beat them

There have definetely been some surprises in the majors this season but I think when the trophies are getting handed out the winners will be a little less surprising.
  11. Ach well hopefully a few surprises for you on Saturday then m8, sorry for being so stupid to think the cup could come east this season , how silly o me, one game at a time, tell Snoop I was asking for um ffs

  12. I think they'll be a few shocks yet again this round, everyone writing Merpro off etc, not an easy place to go to for Drumchapel and no mention of East Coast Sides though, Tollcross putting out The Burn and Fintry the Thorn, Menzieshill dispatching Uddingston easily and Cowie Thistle a good result also, being from the East hopefully it's our time this year but it is all on the day no easy games this far in the competition
