A quick scan of his previous team's forums suggests that he's a decent player but is made of glass.

    Sounds about right.

Glad to start with a "generic" game away - I'll be missing it, so I was desperate for it to not be a derby (home or away) or away to Arbroath.

April 25th...a chance for history to repeat itself 🤔

funnily enough the derby and away trip to arbroath were at the top of my list to avoid on the opening day

  4. regardless of everyones personal view on the backroom team we are recruiting , surely we can all be in agreement that for the first time in many years we look like we are putting together a backroom team that is capable of supporting both the manager and the players in becoming successful in the long run. the days of short term fixes are hopefully over and im sure if some people were to take a step back and look at the situation they would realise this.

everyone needs to put them selves in the players boots , loyalty to a football club doesn't pay the mortgage. there's no chance anyone would turn down a better paid job(speculating it was better paid)  and accept they might lose their job if the company they were at was to go in to admin.

    #23: Craig Curran (29) - May 2021

    Manager

James McPake (34) - Rolling Contract.

There's quite a few I've not included such as Cammy Kerr who is expected to sign a new deal but hasn't officially done so. Nathan Ralph is another who is technically signed up till next season but has triggered a relegation release clause and I've also not included our youth players who will no doubt make a contribution over the course of the season. As pre-season develops I'll include the ones who seem to be complimenting our squad.

    Ages as at 1/6/19.

in regards to Shaun Byrne who holds the option for a further year ? player or club ?

Exactly this. Doolan to play the Peaso role. A few Thistle players seemed to be out of sorts last season, so many changes, a fresh start would do him the world of good, I’m sure he can still be a very good player at this level.

lets hope so , seems like a lifetime ago we had a decent goal scorer

    Andy Nelson?

Must admit, whilst pleased with our signings up to this point, individually I thought they all seemed decent but collectively seemed like a mid-table Championship side. Byrne shows we mean business though.

he could be really good this year providing he stays fit and motivated.

fair play to the board they back their manager , I am liking the the type of player we are going for young hungry players with something to prove. I'm also liking that there is clearly a plan to build for the future with the length of contracts we are giving out

Last time we were in this league we had Peaso up top and he was a similar age if not older. The boy ran the show that year and was our top goal scorer, possibly the league as well but that’s just a guess. A good blend of experience and youth could get us out of this league at the first time of asking.

was thinking this myself , we really do need a peaso this season, not hopeful miller or curran will give us that

He is a much better player than I gave him credit for being before he played for us. I watched him a few times when he was young playing up front for Annan. He looked decent but not exceptional and he didnt do masses against us fir Dumbarton or St Mirren either but he did well out wide when we signed him on loan.

After signing him permanently he was a revelation, excelling out wide and providing our 2nd best goal threat behind Dobbie or running the games from central midfield. He was man of the match in our 1-1 Scottish Cup draw at Dens but was injured before the replay and missed about 10 games. He only really recaptured his form in the playoffs.

Good player, will do well for you.

always good to hear good reviews from the previous clubs fans, cheers bud

I've listed Ross Irving and Connor Murray as Forwards but they have both probably played as often as wingers as they have out and out forwards. They could potentially be deemed Midfielders.

'Super Early Bird’ Season Ticket price has now been further extended and will run until the 10th of June. Representing a saving of £76 for adults #thedee https://t.co/aB4iKygfW4

This super early bird has did well.
360 for an adult for the championship.
20 pound for a ticket it working out at per game if you go to every one ?
Would be okayish if they just kept this at the highest price for a season ticket.

Any latest rumours regarding in coming players ?

Rumours so far are Rudden, Forster, Taiwo and Wighton I believe.

does anyone believe wighton would want to come back to us?
