  1. He could always buy Stevie May's house in Tealing and no live in Aberdeen.
  2. If we are considering Berra as a cover CB then surely the cheaper option would be Jim Weir - (he is not in football just now) and would probably be as effective.
  3. Heard from a Dee fan that McPake will decide this week if to go for Callaghan. If happens that is one out so gives a bit of wiggle room. Suppose that maybe ties in with Dorrans to MK Dons talk. See Hearts Loans that were at Dunfermline have been recalled.......could they come in for Swanson??
  4. Random have a look on twitter: https://twitter.com/PerthSaintsFNH Article in full Daily Record.
  5. Interesting article in Sunday Mail on our Head of Football operations Kirsten Robertson. She is quoted as saying Stevie has taken a step back and entrusted her with running the club and she is going to be making changes. Some of her ideas have already been tried at McD, eg. free tickets to schools - which has not seen a sustained increase in home support. Time alone will tell if her appointment will be beneficial to Saints or indeed if Stevie will reign her back in
  6. Do not know what all the uproar is about a commercial decision to give the Auld firm 3 sides of the ground on a trial basis. This is merely returning to the situation as in the 1990's when East stand season ticket holders were moved to the main stand to accomodate the opposing fans of Tic and pre bankrupt Rangers. My gripe then was that their supporters still infiltrated into the home support area.......so as long as that does not happen fine lets take the increased revenue.
  7. Ok Valentino; 7-2; Tree House Tam not McCoist but some other ex forward who coiuld teach our guys how to hold up a ball; turn a defender and shoot on target. Your suggestions would be welcome.
  8. We not got enough defence minded coaches with A goalie as manager; Defender as assistant and defender as 1st team coach. What we need is a forward coach - bring in McCoist for a few days a week.
  9. My source informed me last week that McClean would be going on loan to Arbroath. Maybe he decided no more loans for him and it was agreed mutual termination was way forward.
  10. Patience boys..........still 3 hours to go and as much time as you like for those freed.
  11. Yup.........defence that lacks any experience and Ando will likely go as well. Maybe not at his best now but surely could be told to just stay back, tackle and get the ball away and talk the youngsters through the game. He could play right back but not attack and allow Beckenbaer Kerr romp up the park.
  12. ???? Thoought he was at Montrose. St Pats appointed Stephen O'Donnell according to Irish Press.
  13. Yes - he was never registered according to an article on google re bury.
  14. Aye Dundee dropping down another league. Well done on taking something from Tannadice though. At least you got a result "££££"
  15. He recently signed a new contract. Do not think that is the type of deal we go for - paying for a player who has just committed to his present club.
  16. Heard at the match that we have signed Jason Naismith on loan..........hope it is true or as Radford says above then Ralston not an answer in any way.
  17. What an open attacking error filled match. Nice to dip into the second tier football as a neutral and watch the supposedly big two. Poor Dee gone from Doon Derby to Demolition Derby after spending all that dosh on players.
  18. Ralston, I feel, would be detrimental to Duffy's development and cannot get my head round why we would loan him. Naismith on loan, would hopefully help Duffy develop whilst on loan for 12 months and also give our defence a bit of experience.
  19. Foster done a job for us. Caused a few issues and has gone (tart it up how you like). We move on - end of story.
