I hope we haven't pinned all our hopes on getting McMillan so now are just settling for trying to find a player who will add as much as Hammill did (expect as striker) after the window shuts.
Gazumped by the new Hamilton manager?

There was a story in the paper about a year ago that Rogers had some condition affecting his eyes.
It wouldn't surprise me if Stubbs signed a goalie who couldn't see very well.
The same condition Stubbs had when scouting for players, probably the optician will get a cut in the deal

He’s the sort of signing we normally make. You’re not sure whether to clap or boo. None of the bottom 3 pulling off anything seismic so far in the window. We normally Booo, it's one thing we're good at

There is absolutely no chance that you will get any seats in the west stand or the family stand. If you take up the allocation for the away stand then I’m afraid that’s it.However I do sympathise when more fans decide to support their club, it should be possible to accommodate them in the main stand if adequate stewards and segregation is possible. But my guess is the police won’t allow it.
Would Killie not be one of those teams that doesn't really offend anyone a la Thistle and could be trusted to sit amongst the home support in the main or family stand, I'm sure we'll did this before and it all went wells.
I also remember a proper battle with Killie outside the sheriff court a long time ago but that element is mostly gone from both clubs

Can't really agree with that. If he signs a genuinely good player or two and gets a few results I'm sure folks minds would change.
Of course, if things improved a lot of people would be apologising, I’d love that to happen, no one wants this

stephen mcginn has a great football brain and i would put money on him being your POTY. he shat the bed leaving dundee looking for a big move down south but cant fault him for trying. best of luck to you guys this season just not as much luck as us!
Stephen McGinn went to Dundee because we didn't put any offer to him which is where he wanted to go.
we know we're truly f&@ked when Greenock roasters come in with Ainsley Harriet and Michael Portillo on a train GIFs, they arent here yet but probably googling the pics reading some of this

31.
Odd one that. That'd be two players from a relegated side last season (happy as I am with McGinn). As you say, hopefully a squad player.
Two players who were top 6 the season before

Patrick Kluivert is meeting the club this week too. Some circus going on!
If he brings Rudd Guilet as his assistant we still owe him an apology

Is there any truth or substance to the Guti link?

Problem is that Stelios is all sugar or all shite.
He's either one of the best on the park or one of the worst, very few matches with real steady consistency.
I think he'll be far too exposed next season to be honest but I wouldn't be upset if he stayed on as the guy's a hero.
Aberdeen in the cup was a prime example

So do Saints fans think it’s all over then?
Yesterday we get a great win away in Dumfries, and our two closest rivals both drop points at home...
... and not a peep on this thread, and barely anything from Saints fans on the match day thread either.
I guess it’s true that bad news sells more than good!
There's a big part of me doesn't want this to end and admit it's over, it's brilliant just now and it won't be 3 points most weeks next season in the city league
