As a accies fan I really hope that's a joke if you seriously think yous won't beat us then you must be a very negative Ayr fan. Trust me it will be your easiest game of the season I would be surprised if yous don't win by at least 3 goals for the sake of you're money don't take us to win or draw in a bet. You're just donating money to the Bookies

Exactly this. If Ayr cannot beat the worst side in the division, by a country mile, then they might as well just give in. The defence is beyond a joke, your big lad up front will have a field day. Our midfleld consists of wee boys average age about 12, all weighing in at 7 stone. Up front the lad One is a 16 year old prospect, who is half decent, but the poor lad should not be thrown into this team on a regular basis, it will destroy any confidence he has

Manager is clueless, way out of his depth, the majority of our fans are already looking to league 1 next season and are pissed off, raging at our fall from grace

The easiest game of season for Ayr, at least 3-0

  2. We are worse than shite and Ayr will win this comfortably. Our defence is abysmal and we have not scored for some time now. This mob of charlatans have won 2 games from last 19 in league

Fans are pissed off, manager is clueless, board members dont give a flying f**k about the team, and we are on a one way ticket to seaside leagues and oblivion

  3. We did punch above our weight for a good few years, but its now coming back to business as usual.

WE have a the lowest fanbase in this league and probably half of league 1 as well, and it going to get even lower when we go down.

2 leaugue wins in 18 games that an even worse ration than when Canning was at his worst.

The main problem at club is Colin McGowan the man who nearly destroyed Raith a number of years ago before they kicked him out and he is now making a bloody good attempt to destroy us.. All his focus is on his pet project, people with addiction problems etc and bringining in some very dodgy sponsors, none of whom last or seem to contribute to club.

I am all for bringing through youth players but not an entire team made up of 16 to 18 year old prospects. And for all our decent youth system how many have we actually sold in last 10 years, got cash for them and they have really shone elsewhere. Club are living off the memory of McCarthy and McArthur from around 12 years ago

Lewis Ferguson, lad has done well and we got literally nothing for him

Greg Docherty, done OK and we got £ 650,000

and that is about it, a few have went to other Scottish clubs and are doing OK but we got literally nothing for them, Ali Crawford, Eammon Brophy, Mikey Devlin

Change the manager and what then. he will still have to work with the same under achievers.

Seaside leagues her were come where will stay for some considerable time

  4. Arbroath struggling a wee bit this season. Dont worry you are playing Accies so pretty much guaranteed your 3 points.

We have no goal threat apart from Winter, who is getting little support, midfield is very lightweight and the defence probably the worst in the division, by far

Anytime a team is struggling, they must look at fixture list and think, we need 3 pts soon, when do we play Accies

  5. Accies are such a shambles of a club at moment both on and off the field. But budget slashed again, an ever shrinking fan base, less than 300 season tickets sold. It is of course difficult to predict most of the league positions at this stage of season except who will finish bottom and it is Accies.

    1. Dundee.

    2. Partick Thistle

    3. ICT

    4. Arbroath

    5. Raith

    6. Ayr

    7. Cove

    8. Queen's Park

    9. Morten

    10. Hamilton

  6. Most of the supporters of "the wee diddy teams" long for the day that the bigot brothers leave Scottish football.

It may take a few years but the leagues would become more competitive. You can see that in the Championship that most teams are capable of beating each other and even to large extent in the Premiership.

Doubt it would happen but if they went down south, or anywhere, maybe people wold start to support their local team, instead of the exodus of fans leaving Hamilton, Motherwell, Kilmarnock etc to travel to see one half of the bigot brothers

  7. Now we can pretty much agree that Goodwillie is about as popular as Putin is in Kyiv and I doubt he will ever play football at a reasonable level again

I am only playing devils advocate here and this is not my personal opinion, but has he not already been punished with a large fine and technically he was was found not proven by a court.

WE give others a second chance after they have done their time/paid fines etc, the Livi manager for example?

Should Goodwillie be given another chance, after all he played for Clyde for several years with a fairly low profile

Just asking the question, not saying he should

  8. Lets consider the evidence. pars got shagged last week by Morton, are bottom of league and they really need a win. Quick look at upcoming fixtures, Thank feck says Yogi we have Accies next week

Anytime a team on poor run of form, need the points you can pretty much guarantee Accies will be along to oblige them with the 3 points.

Accies team is too lightweight in terms of physique and experience. Some decent enough players but sadly lacking the experience and know how for this league

  9. Meanwhile back on topic away from all the Covid talk. Think it was more to do with Accies injured players than Covid. I think we have 12 out injured at moment. No aware of any Covid issues at club

Having said that cant think of many games being postponed due to large number of injuries.

Glad it off, of course, Litchies on a great run and going great and we  are pish. Maybe Jon Rankin can help turn this under performing shower of shite, but wont hold my breath. Cant see many queuing up to sign for Accies either in transfer window

  10. Are we as football fans too impatient with our teams; are boards too quick to sack managers hoping for instant success

So far in our league Killie, Morton. Ayr, Accies, Dunfermline have punted their managers. Thats 50% of managers gone already and most only in their jobs for less than 2 years. Is the QOS manager safe, what about Doddsy at Inverness.

How long should a manger be given. I appreciate that it is different times but old firm had managers for 40 years +, Aberdeen and Dundee Utd had managers for about 10 years.

Apart from Dick Campbell,Ian McCall and John Mcglyn the others may be on a shooglie nail

  11. Thought I would put my usual post on here, especially for Yummy Fur

Easy win for Dunfermline. It will be men against lightweight wee boys, especially in midfield. Our home record is abysmal and we love conceding late goals. That and the fact that we cannot score either means only 1 winner.

Then we go to bottom of league where we will stay until end of season. Home crowd lucky if we have 600 there. Manager will talk pish at the post match, boys gave everything, we keep making defensive errors, thought we deserved something from game and any other cliche you can think of.

And Mcgowan will still not give a flying feck
