Not a massive shock, Kipre’s looked like someone who’s his head was already elsewhere during the league cup group stages. Whether it was the bid from Hull that turned his head or he knew this was in pipeline, he was playing well within himself in all 3 games.
Best of luck to him if he does go through, boy has all the raw attributes to be a massive success down there and have thoroughly enjoyed watching him over the last year.
As for us, a cracking bit of business if we get anything like a million pound plus a decent sell on clause. Kudos to Robinson and the club- from scouting him, to extending his contract twice, to patching Hull’s derisory first offer, they deserve great credit for this and it’s another positive example of the way we operate as a club these days.
Ya Bezzer is going to explode.
By the way, totally off topic, but there's a video of those nice Rangers fans having a wee street riot before tonight's game on this link

Club debt - the last I remember we owed £300,000 to JB. I think it's less than that now. I'm pretty sure that the Well Society board said we owe around £900,000 to Les, and they predicted it would be £700,000 by the end of the year. If this deal goes through, and if we sell Cadden for anything like the money mooted, it will effectively render the club debt free.
Then we'll just have to endure a rollercoaster season.
The joys of being a Well fan.

We knew it was coming, no point mumping about it.
The question now is - are Carson and Cadden on their way out too?
The only thing in our favour is that our transfer window closes after England's - we'll have time to pick up replacements.

^^ Now reading that journalist Alan Nixon is confirming the Kipre bid - is he not usually accurate?

Twitter - Sky Bet Championship transfer news - Wigan are in for Cedric,
Close to a million is the rumoured figure.

I think it would be an unpleasant surprise for Burrows if we didn't sell anyone this transfer window.

Kamberi is the fly in the ointment with this for me, but I v much admire your optimism on this.
Aye could be - the thing is, we're betting against injuries and guys being sold just now as much as anything. Loads of variables, 100/1 £20 e.w. it's worth a punt.

I'm getting on the Sammon hype train as well. f**k knows why but I'm feeling Higdon vibes. I'm going to go absolutely baws out and say Sammon 15+ goals, Main to underwhelm.
15 is what's in my mind too. He'll get far more chances with us than he did with Partick.
Main will come good at some point. He's carrying some kind of injury according to SR.
We scored 43 league goals last year. I'll be surprised if we don't beat that this year.

Top six chat - if we didn't have the cup runs last year we would have been top six. Are we a worse team this year than last? I don't think so. The early season negativity seems a bit overdone ( who knew 'Well fans could be negative, eh?).
Hibs look a lot weaker, Killie have lost Mulumbu, and I can't see them repeating last year's outstanding run. I don't know about Hearts, they seem to be having their annual massive turnover in players.
If we don't have cup runs then top six should be on the cards.

Bonkers bet? Sky bet, top premiership scorer.
Connor Sammon, 100/1
Each way, top three pays quarter odds so 25/1.
I'm in £20 each way as an interest. One of the Celtic strikers if they stay fit should be at the top of the charts, maybe Morelos too. I'm looking at the third place 25/1 rather than winning outright.

You can take Shea Gordon back, hes total pish!
Why do you think we sent him?
Nah, seriously, give him a couple of months. He's got the talent, he needs game time.

Deary me.
I thought your big rivals Airdrie would be of more interest. You'll be at their level soon enough.
And anything less than a win will see Hearts out.

No fringe youngsters anywhere near the first team squad today.
On the bright side, it looks like Accies are defo going out at the group stage. Let's make sure we don't join them.

By the way, I'd like to thank the *Well fans on this thread for not indulging in the sickening, repellent reaction to yesterdays ( admittedly disappointing result ) against Stranraer that we see in the other place. I read one page, including part of a post by our resident football expert, and that was enough. New season resolution, I'm not reading that forum again.
Anyway, the last line of that plums post I read before shutting down was "atrocious youth development."
Really? Cadden ( £450,000 bid knocked back ) followed by Campbell?
McGuire, Turnbull and Scott all now de facto first team squad players?
I swear Ya Bezzer will not be happy until we are relegated, and Kipre released on a free.
He doesn't know how to be a supporter.

Saw some of his comments and was scratching my head given the man he spent his entire playing career under was quite happy to mouth off at the ‘noisy neighbours’ and Real Madrid to mention a few.
The truth hurts - the Accrington Stanley chairman nailed it

I reckon the twitter spat is a good thing.
MenandBoysCoalition, Peter Lloyd, JordanB.Peterson and Martin Daubney are good accounts to follow on Twitter for male related issues, especially for young men.

By the way, is there any other club that can boast a supporter with 15,000 forum posts that doesn't attend games?
Arise, weeyin, the king of a thousand unwanted opinions.

& give it a rest with the "hardly worth it by the time we pay back Hutchison & Boyle," crap.
The sooner we are debt free, the better. The sainted Dempster ran us into administration levels of debt.
Without Hutchison, today we would be worse off than Dundee United.
Pay the man, and shut yer mooth.

Motherwell fans - repelled by the appointment of Robinson
Ya Bezzer, our football analyst genius, disgusted by Kipre being given a year's extension
Looked on aghast as we signed 15 players we had never heard of
Seemed pleased with the signing of Fisher, who got punted as a waste of space in January
We're astonished to get to two cup finals ( and annoyingly, never be in the relegation battle )
Now greetin' cos our manager has signed an established professional striker on the same day a bid came in for the hated, waste of space, worst ever signing, Bowman.
Truly, truly, pathetic.
Try being supporters

Sentimentalism be damned, McHugh is the worst player in the starting XI by a distance and replacing him is key to making any kind of stride forward.
If they need to put out a sad piano music article, fine, but the guy is slow as treacle, rash in the tackle and rivals Charles Dunne as the worst passer of a ball I've ever seen.
Your reputation as a football analyst took a fatal blow when you complained about Kipre getting a contract extension last September.

Does anyone in their right mind believe that:
Cedric Kipre's agent didn't apply conditions to his extension to contract in May?
He wouldn't be much of an agent if he didn't, eh?
Anyway, the Wigan Fan Page, which looks like the real deal, has just welcomed Kipre to Wigan.
