In the interest of staying positive, I’m starting to put together my bucket list for when spectator football returns.
As a football photographer, I’d be really keen to hear recommendations for scenic amateur football grounds in Scotland. This could include Saturday morning leagues, Sunday morning leagues, or summertime leagues.

Gairloch/Aultbea United (Skye and Lochalsh Amateur Football League)
Hopeman (Moray Welfare League)
Blackthorn Rovers (Greenock and District Welfare League)
Normandy Star (Dumfries Amateur Sunday League)
I visited Northend Thistle FC in Lochranza in 2019. Wonderful place. Image below. What clubs play at Ardrishaig and Dunure? Both look very interesting.
