United wanted a 4/5pm kick off. Referee & SPFL were fine with it.
St Johnstone not interested, wanted to know by 1.15 if pitch was playable.
fair enough, we have a game on tomorrow, just adding to the thread.

Hope it’s true what the lad on the United podcast (club employee) said about the whole thing..

Why should St Johnstone hang about on the off chance the pitch becomes playable?
As Random says, if United are willing to say "hold off an hour, we might get it on" they at the very least should have followed that up with "or would you be interested in rearranging for tomorrow?"
It was just a question.
im not an expert on Covid protocols and zoning issues.

Could they have not gone across the road to the all weather pitch / dressing rooms for a light session / rest?

Refusing to wait an hour to play the game, then demanding a full investigation is a novel approach.
I look forward to seeing how it plays out.

We only started working on the pitch Friday apparently. Thing was probably solid since the day after the Motherwell game.
(think Dundee had the USH on from Thursday)still, something to look forward to on Tue night.

Considering the score line, I thought it was a decent game. Think each keeper was really tested just once?
was disappointed in Main’s performance.

Where did you see this?
I was sure I read the whole reason for the ongoing discussions and involving the PFA was it was a straight 20% cut until the seasons end?
Only thing I can see as an update is Mellon confirming him and his staff have dropped the 20% but the players are still in negotiations.
I just heard that the initial stumbling block was they wanted it deferred. When I read it was sorted I assumed this was agreed to.

The players money is deferred anyway. Similar to other clubs (I’m sure Aberdeen went this way)

Kicking about P&B on Christmas Day. What a life.
(4-4-2 today please, same SXI as Killie hopefully)

We definitely stole a point there, but we’ll of course take it.
Mellon does have the 442-wingers-attack thing available to him but I think he’s married to our back 3 playing together and wanting Clark-McNulty-Shankland to all start..
ditch it, 442 v Killie. Have a go ffs

Mohsni would be an upgrade on our existing central defenders. That’s not too much of a compliment tbh.

Can we please do a win against Hamilton?
shots on goal and everything?
Also, lob in a Connolly mistake. That way absolutely everyone will be happy.

Still waiting on the direct quote of me saying he had 100m to burn through.
I believe I discussed the net worth of his assets.
It's alright he's gonna sell his baseball team and keep United afloat with that off the radar war chest of cash.
TOUCH DOWN!

Good to see a lot of the old faces in the last 24hrs.

Butcher will grab this opportunity to bolt. Doesn’t want Connolly smacking his pus again.

I don't think that's a team he's wanting to play considering one of them isn't even at Dundee United anymore, tbh.
You are right though.

I didn’t know the ‘ref / SPFL’ part.
I don’t spend all day every day on the forums etc.
