I’ve never understood why Buds don’t go to these games. They sing stupid songs and make stupid noises but that honestly never bothers me. I guess I just zone if out and even if I could make out their noise I would just ignore it.

I can understand why fans are fed up with the bile their fans spout. It's not an atmosphere I enjoy but I go regardless.

I won't not support our team because their fans can't move on and realise being a bigot is a blight on their club and the culture of the West of Scotland.

Best way to silence them is to win so fingers crossed we can grab 3 points

Agree, but as long as we hang onto 5th, it really doesn’t matter that there’s three qualifiers to get to the group stage, the facts are we’d see the UEFA flag flying in the corner of the ground, and the match programme would be a genuine European game collectors item. Even if it is against some Welsh or far flung mob, the matchday announcement would be ‘Welcome to the SMiSA Stadium for this UEFA Conference League qualifier against FC Kazakdiddy’…

That’s good enough for me. Hope we don’t fcuk this chance up.

We are St Mirren of course we will feck it up

    I think that's fair.

Whilst finishing top six is a good achievement there is still a sense of what might have been given that we've chucked away a huge number of points that we really shouldn't have.

We've lost more points to Livingston than any other team in the division this season, failed to win in Dingwall and lost at McDiarmid Park against a very poor St.Johnstone side.

No divine right to win any game but it's throwing away points like that (and of course the awful record against Killie) which has ultimately cost us a challenge for 4th.

If we still get 5th and qualify for Europe it will definitely be a successful season but if we come up short again and finish 6th it's hard to be overjoyed.

Suppose that says a lot for how far we've come but there's always the niggle that two of the bigger clubs being shit in the same season probably won't happen again for a good while anyway.

Whilst we have dropped some points against Livi etc it cant also be ignored the decisions that went against us when they were clear cut. The game at Dingwall for example with the clear handball.

Football can be fine margins but you need luck too.

This is an 'and' scenario, rather than 'or'

Hibs need to win both games and Dundee taking 5 points with us losing both in order to miss out.

Problem is we have Hearts and Celtic. Realistically we could lose both. Full house at home we have watched this movie before.

Fingers crossed we get over the line on Saturday. Any win will do unless its Hearts
