    When is our AGM?

Think read a few pages back it was meant to be towards the end of this year but has been postponed until early next year.

This board is a joke; not only do they hide from the fans and put up two guys on loan and a total newbie at the meet the fans event but they won't even face shareholders....absolute disgrace. Their desire to hold on to their roles  remind me of rats clinging to the wreckage of a sinking ship. The Teflon Army will allow nothing to stick.

I dont believe that either were bad influences, Hartley had his list to around 8,9  and they were easy targets, Miller's last game v Livvy he gave 110% as a lone striker very much his Livvy performances onwards.

Both players remaining silent on the issue till Hartley had gone says a lot to me

I tend to agree with you. I think Hartley was nervous about the popularity of, in particular, Lee Miller with the fans. His inability to work with senior professionals may well have been reflected in his recruitment policy where he brought in either wee laddies or old duffers who couldn't get a contract anywhere else.

What if I told you Margaret Lang has been a 20+ year supporter of Alloa and was a plant in the Falkirk boardroom to ensure Alloa's championship survival.

Paul Hartley appointed with this express purpose also decided to strap you with 2 year deals on the worst footballers he could get his hands on.

Has some one just out conspiracy theoried Duncan Freemason?

Ms lang is first and foremost a fan. She should never have been encouraged to take this  role in the first place. Fitba in Scotland is a man's world and she is greatly out of her depth. Having said that  she would be good to have around in the background in a  secretarial capacity as she cares about the club. We have no need however for a chief executive who isn't a fan he's not needed or liked and should go so we can use his wage on a decent right back. Does any one know what he does!

I really haven't a clue what he does...wait a minute didn't he made a threat  to sue a group fans once about a lapsed copyright.....maybe that's his job? Or is it arranging friendlies in Wales and Budapest that don't happen...maybe its that

It all depends what she meant by “significant change”. If it’s the business structure, then fine. If it means that she and Craig also implemented the player recruitment structure, then not so good. In fact, very very bad.

The conspiracy theory I offered up a few pages back was dismissed by only one person. It’s been said elsewhere that due to the timings of when players were approached in spring/ early summer, there was absolutely no way Hartley had seen any of them play. Is anyone aware of any public comment where Hartley spoke of “Mitch” as his friend or colleague?

The only comment I can find extolling the virtues of “Mitch” was from Craig Campbell.

    Interesting

  6. From the Herald Newspaper 27/09/2017:

    "

FALKIRK chair Margaret Lang insists “significant changes” are required at the club following the departure of Peter Houston if a return promotion back to the Premiership is to be secured under a new manager.

Lang said: “With new chief executive Craig Campbell, the board is determined to get our club back into the Premiership – and to stay there.

“Craig and I have been in our roles for only some 90 days, but we know that significant changes need to take place to enable us to win promotion.”

Well they have failed!! In my job there are performance appraisals.....Would anyone like to give a 360 degree review of Ms Lang and Mr Campbell's achievement of targets? Let's face it they have been there for 15 months

  7. From the BBC commentary of QoS v. Alloa

"Stephen Dobbie scored his fourth hat-trick of the season as Queen of South fought back from three goals down to draw with Alloa Athletic."

How does the boy get into his house for hat-trick balls..... But seriously a club much smaller than the Bairns who would dream of selling our number of season tickets or getting out average gate can get a player like this.

I wish people would stop the rubbish about us being a small club.... we have small minds that's all

I thought it was an interesting interview from Mackinnon. He basically said what we all know that the players aren't good enough and a lot will be going in January. I hope he doesn't tell individual players that they're the ones leaving though or they'll start to down tools like what happened with Hartley last season.

Based on today, would anyone notice if they downed tools?

  9. Very honest interview from Ray; I think there must be a few players wondering about their future after his candid comments. I think that there has been far too much sugar coating so far this season. Reading between the lines it's obviously time to shape up or ship out.... the players must now know this. Let's hope they react positively to their manager's warnings otherwise they know the alternative.

Robbie Thomson and Rory Loy( although I believe he turned down offers from teams above us)ok, but those 2 are very much exceptions to the rule.

I can't believe of the attraction of either Raith or Dumbarton and doubt either pay more than the Championship, Premier League or anywhere in England,,,,, but I may be wrong??

Where is Luca Gasparotto these days I understand he was released by Morton at the end of last season? And Robbie Mutch is technically at the Sons

This idea beinh floated on the COYB that the BoD are 'clinging to power' is utterly ludicrous. Think about it from their point of view, you're doing an unpaid job while being expected to throw your own money down the drain and facing constant abuse and criticism from fans.

If the BoD 'f**k off' like most fans seem to want, the club will cease to exist. I don't see billionaires queuing up to buy Scottish championship football clubs(or fans seeking to either).

Is the COE unpaid? He is on the BoD

This is the point I'm trying to make made far more eloquently, thank you.

I am fucking raging, in case anyone can't tell.

Let's face it any club should try and move on players not performing to the standard to take the club forward and replace them with players who can.

Unfortunately, Hartley decided to throw the baby out with the bath water and then unmitigatedly  failed to bring in anyone better. We lost the heart of our club through his arrogance and lack of football management ability.

  14. Dallison and Harrison really contribute very little and quite scare me witless when ever the ball comes anywhere near them.

Ray has a hell of a job ahead of him. My concern is who will be available come January, will we have the cash to pay/buy them and will they want to come to a club staring relegation in the face and therefore unable to commit to their future.

Hartley and his mates definitely did one hell of a job on us. The BoD accepted their gospel hook line and sinker. But they are the Teflon Army and nothing sticks.....Later days untouchables. They accept no blame despite the fact we are adrift at the bottom of the league......They followed a process so they are in the clear....At least in their eyes.

We need a new BoD, untarnished by the last year, to take over and take our club forward.  But unfortunately, Ms Lang and her CEO seem to want to cling to power irrespective of he views of the fans; the people who actually buy season tickets, strips and hospitality.

Have respect for the Club, the fans and yourselves and GO NOW,
