  1. I enjoyed sending them down but we should not treat it like a trophy
  2. My club have been a shambles for years, so I'm perfectly entitled to voice it
  3. Can't say I listen to that particular genre, but what I've posted is the truth. Steady progress, like finishing 1 or 2 places higher is good.
  4. Who was the cup final against? Slipped my mind
  5. They used it well when they finished 6th. St Johnstone is a better example, finishing top 6 several times consecutively, until last season of course.
  6. Well we were 'promoted' because of SPL rules so I guess it evens out
  7. This is our fifth consecutive season in the top flight, it's number 11 for St J and I can't remember a top flight without Kilmarnock or 'Well. So it is ridiculous to think we can just magically catch up to these teams after 20 years of being a yo-yo club. With regards to having a larger budget than other teams, it is because Killie and PT used theirs more effectively to finish in the top 6.
  8. I'm pleased that you're seeing sense then. The league has improved dramatically since we were promoted, hence it is tougher to finish 6th. A Kilmarnock with SC at the helm are a shoe-in for top 6, as are Hearts with their budget. Our first season back was without Hearts, Hibs and Rangers. They're all here now.
  9. Thanking you If I didn't laugh at the Dees on here, I'd just cry. Ridiculous to think we'll just become top six overnight, it takes time.
  10. I can assure you that I am a Dundee supporter, just not overly-optimistic like our rabid social media folks who make us 'The Fun' with their ridiculous comments. Honestly if we can just emulate Kilmarnock, St J, and Motherwell by having a lengthy stay in the top flight, and a cup semi/final appearance now and again I'll be over the moon.
  11. We were linked with him a few days ago. Aberdeen are also rumoured to be interested. Plays at centre-half, but also defensive midfield
  12. Of course not, but I get the feeling that many Dee posters still think it's the early 1960s I've seen us relegated twice, enter administration twice, suffer humiliating defeats at the hands of Dunfermline, Gretna, Clyde and Hamilton, so I'll be fairly content if we finish 7th or 8th. Why on earth our support seems hell-bent on a top-6 finish, a cup win and signing former internationalists, I will never know. A section of our support even believes that relegating the worst Dundee United side in my lifetime is an achievement All I ask is 7th or 8th and no Admin.
  13. Why are some of our fans on P&B utter lunatics. At best, we'll finish 7th. Even if we finish 8th it's one position higher and deemed successful IMO. 1. Celtic 2. Dons 3. Hibs 4. The Evil Empire 5. Hearts 6. Kilmarnock 7. Dundee 8. St J 9. Well 10. St Mirren 11. Hamilton 12. Livingston Promoted: Partick as champions and Hamilton to beat Inverness in PO
  14. We’ve put in a bid for Peterborough defender Jack Baldwin, Dons and Luton also interested
  15. You need your hole badly, mate. Get yourself to the underground sometime this weekend and I’ll wing you
  16. Didn't they get relegated ? I presume it was just him n maybe a few others who were decent ? Yeah they finished 4th bottom but Ralph did stand out in the two games. Confident that he can manage the step up
  17. Have a cousin living in Surrey and we went to a couple Woking games last season and must say I liked the look of Ralph. Can play left back or on the wing so that’s a bonus
  18. Saw Jmac has issued a ‘come and get me’ plea to Scottish clubs. Not played in 14 months and his family moved back to Paisley in February.
  19. Some people seem to forget that you can sign a left-back before a forward Sir Neil kens Derry Rhumba from Bangkok
  20. Well, we've been a bit spoiled these past few days, so content to not make any new signings this week
  21. Ah, my mistake, got confused between him and Boredom Guy.
  22. You've used the word 'like' far too many times. Didn't realise saints most prolific poster was a 14 year old girl.
