  1. It is. Eleven are launching two TV channels in August. Cost of subscription is currently unknown.
  2. Sky have the Chinese Super League as well. BT cover some 2.Bundesliga also & have Vanarama Conference. Freesports are thing too and have the following: Primeria Liga (Portgual) First Division A (Belgium) Segunda Division (Spain) League Of Ireland Premier (ROI)
  3. Owned by Leeds chairman. Already have numerous rights to various sports/league in Europe, Asia & America. They either show on their platforms or license out to others to show. In UK they have two channels coming August but nothing confirmed as per subscription cost. Noteably they've already wrangled La Liga from sky sports.
  4. Was playing with Cumbernauld United last season. No idea if he's with them this season though.
  5. Juve marketing department probably laughing to the bank with Ronaldo fanboy money incoming.
  6. I still find the name baffling as the clubs long term plan as far as I know is to be based in Motherwell.
  7. The HL/LL boundry is how it is to compensate for shortage of SPFL teams in north. If LL territory included Angus then the SPFL would have only 5 clubs in HL territory (Aberdeen, Peterhead, Elgin, Ross County & ICT). With Angus in HL territory the number goes to 11.
  8. LeBron deal is $154 million over 4 years
  9. Pollok have signed Ewan McNeil. As per our site he played all but one of your games last so I'm assuming he's good?
  10. Anyone else follow/watch this? BT Sport carry games with games Thu-Sun with some Monday games . The league consists of 9 teams across two divisions (East & West - based on the pre CFL leagues) playing an 18 game regular season. Top 3 from each advance to playoffs known as The Grey Cup. Canadian Football is for the most part same as its American counterpart with some exceptions like 3 downs instead of 4, 12 players instead of 11 and some other rules. As a result numerous ex-NFL players ply their trade in the CFL as its the only other option for pro gridiron football besides arena football.
  11. missed oppertunity for ex-Burnley and current sevconian Scott Arfield to give his input on the plucky upstarts from up north drawing a team from the 'best league in the world'[emoji769].
  12. The last semi-pro team out of Grangemouth was Falkirk Juniors who existed 2011-2016. As for the last 'senior' team paging HJ. Are they planning on using Grangemouth Stadium?
  13. They originally played out of Ravenscraig in Motherwell and the Palace Sports Ground in Hamilton as players recieved English education at New College Lanarkshire. iirc they have long term plans to return to Motherwell with a development in Strathclyde Country Park.
  14. Young 18 year old defender who is also very comfortable with ball at his feet and going forward so could probably work as a defensive mid too. Played 20 games last season.
  15. Hermes FC are named after a model of typewriter by the name of the Hermes 2000.
  16. Stuff outside of the west generally gets mentioned. Even been coverage of east clubs outside top flight such as Dunfermline during this off season. My only guess to the exclusion is short program due to world cup atm.
  17. STV news at 6 sports consisted of an interview with Leigh Griffiths and an interview with Gary McAllister concerning Flanagan and the Europa draw. No mention of Aberdeen or Hibs draws at all.
  18. https://www.theguardian.com/football/2018/jun/12/julen-lopetegui-appointed-real-madrid-manager Lopetegui lined up as Real's next manager
  19. I hear the heathens even use devil lanterns. Down with this sort of thing.
  20. To add to this even Edinburgh City don't charge 12 quid despite promotion to the big bad scary leagues with trips to Elgin.
  21. Does moving to the EOS make getting referees/match officials easier at all? I‘m not clear on how designation of officials works depending if a club is senior or junior.
  22. My assumption is there'd be a west wide league tier 6 made up of both west juniors & some SOS clubs. Tier 7 would see an SOSL for D&G clubs plus a division for the clubs elsewhere in the west (region which the west juniors cover currently).
