  1. Wait, you mean to tell me McIntyre played for united? We've never been told...
  2. I just went and Google searched that. Jesus fucking Christ.
  3. Not hoping for anything tomorrow but realistically I think a win against St Mirren and Hamilton would see us good. A draw anywhere in between. Looking like a play off derby if we do though. Would rather be automatically relegated instead of the unthinkable.
  4. I'm obviously aware how the fucking points are distributed. We're only two points out. Not going to regurgitate what ludo just said but he's right. We have been utter shite yes but it's not completely done yet. We're not miles adrift. A win were it counts and a few draws is all we need.
  5. Right? Ugly shitfest tactics that showed when it mattered we could defend. I would rather draw ugly than bleed points to the teams in the bottoms six and those that are equally as desperate us.
  6. I wouldn't expect you to beat an egg. We've been pish recently, that's a given, but it's the same squad nearly held Celtic for 96 minutes. We needed those points but we face Hamilton and St Mirren again each. Were not massively adrift either.
  7. You watching? County look fucking dreadful. They're top of the league. How?
  8. Watching county play united is making me a lot more hopeful of our survival. If we make the play offs we should be alright.
  9. I'm not sure if you went through to Paisley, but that was one of the most depressing games I've ever seen. Elation after 30 seconds and then 94 minutes and 30 seconds of abject misery.
  10. I agree with a lot of what you have said regarding players and potential starts. I wouldn't swap out O'Sullivan for sales though. I normally sit on the glass half full side but after that shitfest in Paisley I'm a bit less hopeful. One up very quickly and somehow we collapsed like a fucking deck chair. Obviously would love three points and a bit of GIRFUY to the Perthshire pretenders but we just made things a lot more complicated than they needed to be.
  11. The problem being we aren't even good enough to be called pish at the moment. Excrement is the word.
  12. I like that. It is a lot of money for folk to stump up working or otherwise. I imagine the price is going to stay the same even if we get relegated. More matches to justify the cost. The pay up method might prove popular. Don't know how it works just yet as I've only just heard about it this second but people who couldn't get finance before or have bad credit might have a chance at getting a ST. Edit - Just had a look and you decide the initial payment and then 3 further payments to make up the balance. It's monthly from when you take the form to the ticket office and make your first payment.
  13. Was that not the under 18s who did well ? Could have swore it was the old U21 squad before it got rebranded the reserve league. Could have been the 18s.
  14. They had a cracking season, all the best of the crop fed out on loan and that's it. Most of them will be sold to the Angus clubs for a few grand.
  15. I think Kerr Waddell got by because he did score. Right then we were desperate to score a solitary goal. I'm all for constantly clearing out the squad but we can't keep replacing them with more pish.
  16. It has been a revolving door of pish to be fair.
  17. Will the yanks want to fund that though? Couples with the already HUGE losses we are making, we also lose the bulk of our income by dropping to the championship.
  18. It's been brutal because we have had an endless amount of cash thrown at the team but no result for it. I'll leave it to someone who wants to do the maths but we have had a very high number of in and outs this last two seasons. The year Hartley left was supposed to be a warning and was the right time to try and fix it. Instead we made the McCann mistake and spent X amount of £s on that. Then we got McIntyre, cut the wage bill (have to spend money to do that) and got in a new raft of players for very similar results. We have had chances to fix things endlessly but we have the wrong person holding the chequebook and the wrong person doing the shopping. I still think we have a chance to survive but we can't be doing this every bloody season.
  19. I remember the expectation I had of Williams after his first game. He looked dangerous and was constantly running to the byline to cut back and never looked tired. After that he kind of tanked. I said Vincent because I can't think of one positive bit of play from him ever. He was what came to mind when I thought of the question. I don't doubt there has been worse than he.
  20. Who has been Dundee's biggest dud throughout the years? Don't pick any of the current squad just to rule out sour grapes. I know we've a long history but I think the worst player I've seen in dark blue in recent times was Vincent.
  21. Buzzing for the match. Feels like the off season. Going to be a big crowd going through by the seems of things.
