The great unknown is the club's current financial position. Willie Haughey has not provided a blank cheque and a great deal of money has been spent. To what extent is finance dictating the direction in which the club is travelling?

A couple of bits of artwork have appeared which you may not have seen:
This appeared on the wall of Lesser Hampden in the lead up to Rememberance Sunday last November. Edwin Garvie was one of the clubs players who was killed on the Western Front in the First World War. No idea who added it or the relevance of "Sing for the boys" though.
Also, over in Shawlands in an alley just across from the Granary on Kilmarnock Road is a mural of Andrew Watson, captain of the Scottish Cup winning teams in 1880, 81 and 82. This was organised by an anti-racism project.
Young Rangers fans were responsible for the artwork at Lesser Hampden. They did the same at Firhill and some of the Thistle fans were none too impressed.

It's very easy to blame the manager for the team's failings. The simple truth is that Queen's are no longer able to recruit sufficient players of the quality required to do other than struggle in the SPFL.

According to today's Rutherglen Reformer, often the best source of information about Queen's Park, seven of last year's squad have re-signed - Ciaran Summers, Daniel Nimmo, Gerry McLauchlan, Cammy Foy, Gregor Fotheringham, Billy Mortimer and Ewan MacPherson.

If Ray McKinnon was not sacked, why did he leave? Money reasons, perhaps?
