It's the Thursday I've got tickets for, glad I did now. Looks like they are trying to make the non weekend night a bit more attractive.

Matter of opinion I guess. But I really didn't think there was a lot in it. I thought making the 3 changes distrupted us and was the main cause of Dundee winning the game rather than a lack of quality. When I say we don't need 4-5 signings, I mean for the starting 11. I think it's an exaggeration to say we're that far off. Filling the sqaud out I would agree with. We are a light on players but I would say that the case now, not just for the championship.

Pars more than held their own last night. Everything Dundee hit was going in and the scoreline looks more comfortable than it was. See a few comments elsewhere highlighting how this team is not chamionship ready and we need 4-5 signings but I genuininely think we're not far off as we are. Need to strenghen the defence.

Also think Gaspuitis would've stayed if he played but he was apparently a fish up a tree playing as a right footer in the left sided centre back position. The big man along side Martin were the most solid partnership we had last season. He then brought in a total bomscare in Ambrose and played with two right footed centre backs.

Tyler French broke his leg for Dundee yesterday. I'm sure he is a right sided centre back. Looks like Sam Fisher will get his chance at Dundee now.

Interested to see how Sam gets on going back to Dundee. Personally think he's ready to kick on with you guys but it could turn out a bad move for him if Bowyer doesn't commit to playing him in the starting eleven. Nothing fancy about him but he is solid. Can't think of many mistakes from him, good on the ball and physically will match up with most thrown at him. I know it's league 1 he's played in but it's a fairly strong league 1 this year and he's been a big part of the best defensive record in Scotland this season.
