Didn't think we played too badly until the second goal that came from nothing. Airdrie were well organised and clinical with the two shots they had. We are so poor up front without Chris Kane.
Not going to get too downhearted about tonight though. Still feel we will be good enough to stay up.

Pars are much stronger now. Some key players back and Kane up top. The wee team will be put in their place in this one.

We are much stronger now since this game was meant to be played. Still think we could toss a coin with games like this though. Airdrie are a decent side. They won 2-0 at Tannadice a week ago, so nobody will be taking this lightly.
I'm going for 2-2.

This 1 millions loss must've been paid somehow. We have no bank debt, so I'm guessing the owners have either covered the loss or gone down the Masterton soft loan route.

Unnecessary changes made us worse after half time. Not the worst manager we've had when you compare him to the laughable managers in recent times but McPake continues to fall short this season.

Thought we were slightly the better team first half. Second half changes didn't work. We just lack depth and any real quality off the bench.
Chris Kane is central to everything good up front. Lose him and Holmes is just nowhere near it, thought he might have something about him but thought he was really poor when given the chance. MOH is like Forrest Gump. Just runs in straight lines and doesn't lift his head. The changes were just lacking any quality.
I'm happy enough to stay 2 points clear of ICT with a game in hand. Arbroath are now gone. Two home games now against Ayr and Airdrien now. Two teams with impressive results tonight. We have to get Kane back for those two, along with Matty Todd playing in the number ten role. Would give Moffat a start on Saturday.
Just avoid 9th is the aim now.

I saw that St Johnstone had a striker collapse on the pitch on Saturday.
Just wonderining is StJohnstone have maybe recalled Kane if the guy is out for the season.

For Kane not to be on the bench, tells me it's not about managing him. There a problem. He lasted 3 games, which is quite impressive for a Pars player these days.

Deniz, Comrie, Breen, Chalmers, MOH, Wighton all under contract next year and I would cut loose all of them if we could. Not much wriggle room due to being too generous with two year deals in the summer
I've got concerns that we might lose Otoo, Todd and Edwards over the summer too. That the thing with bringing young prospects in and selling on. It's hard to build a team when selling guys on is part of the plan.
I wouldn't bother trying to bring Moffat or Summers back. Too lightweight and offer nothing when we're up against it.
I like Jakubiak, wouldn't be adverse to keeping him. McCann is on a 3 year deal, so he's going nowhere. Maybe loan him out for 6 months for some time away. He was looking good the first 2-3 months of the season but has been awful since before Xmas.
Still too early to judge Benjamin, Holmes and MFW. MFW seems to be the one making the biggest impact though. Maybe see a deal thrown his way in the summer. There's something about Holmes that makes me think he might end up being decent. Benjamin not so much was please see him have a good second half on Friday and get a goal. He's taken a bit of stick since arriving.
