STATEMENT
With relegation to the Lowland League after more than 60 years of playing in the Scottish Football League, Berwick Rangers now find themselves in a dire situation.
The past season has been the worst that anyone can remember. Although decisions made by previous directors in the summer of 2018 hindered the club's chances, ultimate responsibility for the season falls at the feet of the current board of directors of the football club.
As the football club's major shareholder, in light of the current situation and as a consequence of decisions made over the course of the season, Berwick Rangers Supporters' Club expects the directors to consider their positions.
A failure to act and actively seek new people to take the club forward in a positive direction could force the Supporters' Club into leveraging its position as a major shareholder in Berwick Rangers Football Club and calling an EGM to ensure that the club sees the change required.
Berwick Rangers have been in existence since 1881 and have a proud history. We could and should have a bright future ahead of us. We believe that this vision can only be achieved with new people driving the football club forward.
